Not a request to back yet, but one for people to look out on. Zaha to make the England squad is at 9/2 with Paddy at the moment. Would imagine that will get larger until January when I think he will be loaned back to Palace or another Prem club. Doesn't look like he will be played by Moyes at all.
When he goes in Jan, if given a free role on the wing, allowed to run at players, (which I think Moyes inhibits) with the increased chance of losing the ball but also bigger possibility of chance creation he could be a revelation and force Hodgson's hand. Can't see why he couldn't have a similar impact to Townsend if given 3/4 months of exposure in the prem after dominating the championship. Think he just needs to be given a chance.
Also Hodgson likes Zaha, featuring him in the squad and played him, when he was given a run through pre season, he was also chosen to play from the Championship, shockingly, when a lot of other managers of England would have left him there just before christmas last year. I think he has been forced not to pick Zaha because he hasn't been playing.
He prefers the right wing that looks very tough to penetrate now for England, but he could provide cover there, or on the left.
Think 9/2 will get bigger, and you would probably need to back just before the Jan transfer window opens and think you will see undoubted value, even if he might just miss out.

I was discussing and thinking about this market this morning and I think there is definitely some mileage in backing younger players that can improve and Zaha is a good example of such a player. Obviously a bit worried that Moyes doesn't seem to rate him but he could just be being conservative at this stage. as a punt it doesn't seem awful.

Moyes didn't sign him and it could be a case of he just isn't the type of player he is looking for right now. If Ferguson had another season, nearly certain he would be on the cusp of the first team or in it, with a lot more games under his belt. Don't think he would be putting up £15m on a player he wouldn't be interested in playing.
With Moyes though, I think he feels he is lumbered with him. It may have something to do with the fact Moyes doesn't like the idea of letting Zaha loose on the wing with a higher percentage of Zaha losing the ball when he runs at players. I think he instructed Zaha to play a more passing game in pre season, less selfish runs, but that has effectively taken the prized asset away from Zaha of his great flair and makes him look more ordinary.
Moyes coming in is terrible for Zaha. Could be potentially good for Fred though. Zaha will need to go to a team in Jan that will use him in a free role on the right wing, preferrably, and there cannot be any doubt about his starting position. That is why I hope he goes to Palace really.
Think he is hugely underrated mainly because he hasn't played a single prem game, I mean wtf is that.

Why Zaha is a good pick here, imo, is that he will drift until January while other hopefuls could get much shorter up until then and then all of a sudden he could explode onto the scene with the loan move in January.

Agree with youngsters logic but winger, esp wide right, is one position we seem to have plenty of choice in, long way to come for zaha in half a season at a non top 6 club. Gotta get past Townsend, Walcott, Ox, Young, Milner, Lennon, probs only take 2 or 3 of them given strikers seem destined to fill in on the left. Someone like Morrison, Barclay, more central I think has more chance. Can see england lining up with no wingers in a 4-3-3 if Townsend doesn't keep this form, or he may be part of front 3, but if that's the plan he's gotta get past 4 of above plus any I've forgotten, like franz carr
