Ignore the 1/4 jolly for a moment.

Nicole Kidman is 16/1 with Paddy and 20/1 with Mr Hill but 66/1 with Laddies and BFred. Quite a disparity.

Every Arsenal fan's postergirl, Dame Judy Dench was in a cruelly overlooked film last year in Skyfall. She is getting some very impressive reviews for her role in the enormously emotive Philomena. 12/1 floating about with BFred. Critics say she's the one to beat in the BAFTAs, although that's not the best indication of success in the Academy Awards.

All subjective and personal opinion.

Hopefully some thread viewers will have got on Sweet Reason at 6/1 earlier in the week looks like going of probably 4/1 joint fav. Cant really advise backing her now at the current price or anything else in an open contest.

Lovely race Dank is an obvious and good fav, however was 4/1 10 days ago,now sub 2/1 worthy fav but not for me now.
Romantica probably has equal form as dank when at her best but i cant back her of the last run.
Tiz Flirtatious is a fair price over here, she has improved miles this season and somehow won last time off very slow pace. Qushchi would not have been within 20 lengths of the euros on her european form but has improved for lasix; she was only 4 lengths behind Laughing (10/1 in here) last start after a nightmare trip and is 50/1.

This looks impossible, if pushed for a bet Dance Card at 12/1 for the boys in blue looks ok but i am not fully aware of all of the opposition to suggest anything.

Very unusual for a sprint at this meeting there is not a bundle of pace. Reneesgotzip should go close if allowed own way which he maybe.

Dimension is a bit like qushchi you would not back it on euro form but the former Nicky Henderson assistant has done a great job with him.
Just a small bet as the lack of pace makes this very tough.

Very much like Dank,The Fugue is the rightful fav here but again her price is nearly half what we could have had two weeks ago so not for me. Point of Entry is a top class horse but been off for an age.
Cant have Magician at all for this, looks like an afterthought to me and has never been over this trip im having a small place lay.

Real headscratcher this Justin Phillip was unlucky against Private Zone last time but having watched again the current fav for the sprint just wanted it more. J Phillip has an ideal draw this time and looks a corking place bet but has ducked the issue before.
As to what to back to win something unexposed and coming from a different form line for me.

MAJESTIC STRIDE has missed a lot of racing but has the ability to win this 33/1 is insulting.

Oh Wise Dan i love you i really do, plenty will be tempted to lump on the best horse in American Racing especially if behind for the meeting. Won TEN straight turf races and has beaten all of these before bar Olympic Glory.
I cant have Olympic Glory with anybodys money, had 14 days since last run, extreme change in going, second time blinkers and a very very sharp turf track not for me and another European place lay if the price is ok.
Of the rags i quite like Za Approval who is a different animal to the one Wise dan hammered earlier in year. Comes here on a career upturn and vc again are a bit insulting with 33/1 for a horse who has finished no worse than fourth in 12 starts on a firm turf course, with seven wins and four seconds under those circumstances.

Sky Bet have suspended betting on the next Republic of Ireland manager after Martin O’Neill was backed at as short as 1/20 for the vacant post.

The former Sunderland boss had shared favouritism with Mick McCarthy over the last few weeks but attracted a surge of interest on Friday morning, with his price plummeting amid a flurry of significant bets.

The FAI have been searching for a new boss following Giovanni Trapattoni’s departure, but media reports are now suggesting their new man could be in place early next week.

Sky Bet Football Trader Chris Spicer said: “Having held a fairly balanced book on the next Republic of Ireland manager, we suddenly saw a surge of bets on O’Neill getting the post on Friday morning.

“Regardless of how much we shortened our odds the money kept coming, so we have been forced to suspended the market.”
