Also unless we see something spectacular in the second half I am afraid that tonight is the death knell for the Mariota Heisman bet. At this stage I would bet anything bigger than 1/2 on Winston.

Been very frustrating to watch, and ironic that the guy mouthing off about 40pts gifts them a fumble recovery in the redzone...

Garcon first
TD scorer @ 10-1 with Ladbrokes is even better value than it was for the game. A great bet imo......oh for a Ladbrokes account!!!
Missed this by minutes mate, sorry.

Ive never opened a Ladbrookes account. But willing to do so for some of these bets feel free to PM me if you want stuff getting on. Ive only managed to ever get 2 betting accounts closed and one of them was not for having a winning account!
Obviously if TFT want some action on laddies i can do that to if that is allowed?

Ugh think our Heisman bet might be in a lot of trouble after tonights game.
Oregon lost 26-20 but it was a whole lot worse than that they were down 26-0 going into the 4th quarter and getting beat up especially on both lines. Mariota saving grace might be that he was constantly harrased throughout the game but he had 2 fumbles and was inaccurate on a number of occasions.
I expect people will have Jameis Winston as clear favourite now especially as Florida State are now in the box seat to go the National championship game against Alabama.
Bad times.

The Adrian Peterson rushing bet didn't break the magic "buck" mark. Tighty was right in that he had 2 TDs, so relied on, but his 75 yards weren't enough.
Are things at the Vikings so bad now that they are a one trick pony with AP? Are teams just closing down the middle and making the QB (Ponder or whoever else wins the Minnesota Tombola that week) throw to less confident receivers? Washington's defence against the run isn't stellar, but stick a few fat blokes in the mix and even the best find it hard to break them down?
I'm asking this all blind, having not seen the game. Just curious going forward, really, because it seems to me the Vikings not having any other options is either really good for Peterson or really bad.

On the American Football theme, Jay Cutler is fit for Sunday, being back in two weeks when predicted to have been out for four. His Chicago Bears are 20/21 to beat
Megatron
the Detroit Lions. This seems to be one of those rare games where the teams are evenly matched. Bears are coming off a great win against the Packers and now have their talisman back.
Has the market already reacted?

Peterson was given 20 touches I think and ran for 75 yards. 3 of those touches were negative yardage and most were against "8 men in the box" so the problem for them is a) better protection needed and b) need some better receivers and a deep threat quarterback that teams have to respect, thus taking defenders away from the run.
Quite frustrating watching the Vikings play-action (pretend to give it to Peterson) and try to be balanced with their other offensive options
Anyway the Vikings did well in the second half last night. Would be a serious team with a top quarterback and a couple more receiving options.
Garcon anytime landed anyway, and we could/should have had 10-1 first TD on the opening drive too. Fine lines.

Good Morning Tony,
Pozuelo FGS for Swansea vs Stoke on Sunday, 15/1 with Bet Victor and 14's with Coral. He is playing just off the striker while Michu is away and this price is too big 8's or 9's would be more like it. Recommend £20 at 15/1, 14/1 is fine too if we can't get on with VC.

Many a happy afternoon as a kid spent watching those sail out of St Helens and bounce down the Mumbles Road on to the beach.
