The strictly market has gone all weird.

Sophie Ellis Bextor no longer 2nd favourite, but is now 6th favourite!

Patrick has gone ahead of Ashley in the overall betting, but still behind in the best man.

Betway have Patrick at 11/4 for top man, he is 11/10 with Stan James.

If we have Betway, we should just get on and lay off later.  As much as we can.

Edit.  Gone. now best 9/4.  I have also backed SEB again at 9.6 to green the Betfair book.

time for the next very popular quiz name that player

Oh Jamie, Jamie, Jamie.  One of my favourite Boro players of all time.  He was like a rough around the edges Lee Cattermole!!!!  It says a lot to his style of play that the only chant we had about him in the Holgate End was "Jamies gonna get you"

Why is Natalie 2.52 on bf for next elimination, is she still not fit? 40-1 elsewhere. Can't find anything out about her.

Betting summary - Volume:  £0  might explain it.  I guess nobody wants to leave 40/1 up there for somebody to take advantage of any bad news

NFL people, the big game on Channel 4 Sunday night/Monday morning is Denver Broncos v Kansas City Chiefs. I have some half-thoughts:

Denver HAVE to win. If they don't, they will struggle to win the AFC West. Peyton Manning is bashed up, must start and has a habit of not performing to his best on the biggest stages.

Kansas rush the QB as well as anyone and can do it without giving away too much behind them, which is critical against the quick release of Manning.

If Denver don't put up big numbers against the scoreboard, they're vulnerable, as Indy proved. Kansas have had a bye week to prepare and there couldn't be a team with more confidence in the league than the chaps in red.

I know it's been said the Chiefs are overrated and that they will get found out, but they are over 3/1 with some bookies (BillyHilly 16/5 and a few like Totempole and BettyFrederick 100/30).

Is it right that this seems big to me?

Brendon de Jonge looks a very good each way bet in the Aussie Masters.  I assume most of them are rubbish; our man is near the top of the leaderboard; bet365 offer quarter first 4 which looks generous given Scott is so short.

Think we have enough for 20 each way at 9/1.

Cheers

Thank you.

Given our Restricted Account, £20 EW proved optimistic, but we managed £5.56 EW @ 9/1.

Daily Report

Profit on Month £583.21

Outstanding Bets £2854.78

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=32

A profit of £45 yesterday as Phil Taylor's average exceeded 101.5 in his victory over Andrson in the Grand Slam of Darts last night

In the NFL last night the Colts beat the Titans 30-27. The result is immaterial to us, but the Titans scoring 27 points was decent news

They have now scored 227 points in ten games this season and we need over 354 this season to land a reasonably chunky bet. So in the remaining 6 games we need 128 points or just under 22 points a game. Could be close, but the fact that Ryan Fitzpatrick is at QB for the injured Jake Locker is probably good news as he is more of a gunslinger than Locker, who tends to dink and dunk more.

After two rounds of the Australian Masters Brandon de Jonge is T6, five shots behind the almost inevitable leader Adam Scott

Tonight, we need both teams to score at England v Chile. Rumours that Jamie Pollock will be in midfield for England, such is the mysterious absence of players dropping like flies injured ahead of a friendly, remain unproven.

Ooh, very well done Bazza, thanks.

Lovely bet, & never much in doubt, I gather.

He seems to defy age, his abilities should be in decline now, but he seems to have a handle on how to beat most players even now.

In years to come, after he has moved on, he'll be looked back on as something really special, in the same category as Senna, Piggott, Bryant etc at their respective sports.
