Mariota got no shot irrespective I don't think. I still think Winston will win but if I was hedging I would be considering AJ McCarron and Bryce Petty too. The voters that are put off by Winstons misdemeanours aren't going to be overly enamoured by Manziel either imo.
Thomas bet won Graham bet lost tonight. Ironically, the Graham bet panned out as I had expected largely and the Thomas one not so much. Guess that's variance huh?
I'm most gutted about missing out on a shot at grimming Adz for a bottle
Was pretty unlucky that Graham hammered half the yards on his first play.

Kinda but if they never make a big play you rarely lose these so they often come down to the big play attempts. Unfortuntely he made 100 yards off the rough number of receptions I expected and when they score 17 points. I will happily bet him under a big number again next week.

I have a bet for tonight that I can't really get but might be some use for Fred or Blondes.
Jimmy Graham is the best tight end in all of the NFL for me at the moment and he has posted some mindblowing numbers this year again but he got injured before they went to the bye and since then his numbers have come down. This year he has averaged 84.6 yards per game but in his last four games since the bye and injury he has had 37-116-59-41 and the game where he got 116 yards was against the Jets which they lost and you have to keep using your best player when you are fighting for a game, injury or not. Also Marques Colston was injured for that game so he couldn't use him as an alternative like he has since Here we have a game where they are favoured by nearly ten points in a dome. It figures to suit their passing game and they could easily run out to a big lead. If they do I think he will play very little part and even if they don't I think the 85.5 yards VC have set the line at is possibly a bit high anyway. He may be a monster but he is still a tight end. Would suggest £55 Jimmy Graham u85.5 receiving at 10/11 with VC in the New Orleans - Atlanta game tonight.
For those of us part-timers who went to bed, Graham received for 100 yards, so this bet never got home.

Sorry to keep just splurging my thoughts but think there is another interesting opportunity in the NFL now.
Darren Sproles is out which means that Pierre Thomas is now going to be the focus of a lot of the Saints running plays. Their only other option is Mark Ingram but I don't think they really fancy him and whilst his stats are okay a lot of them come from late in the game against Dallas and they seem to use him most then. Not really a Fred rec but there is almost no Thomas related bet that isn't value at best price so depending on your betting preferences over 53.5 yards, 10-1 First TD scorer or 5/4 Anytime are all perfectly good value imo.
....but in this one, Thomas Rushed for 73 yards, where we had him OVER 52.5, so this is a Winnerrrrrrrrrrrrr
Thanks Stu.
Keep splurging please.

Worked until midnight last night, then home, cook & eat dinner, then watch the Cricket until lunch before toddling off to bed.
Good start by England, Carberry going along well, decent score is probable.
As I drive to work this morning, the silly mare on Radio 4 says "
Australia
are in a commanding position in the first Test".
Why do they employ women to comment on sport, it's no surprise she got the two teams confused, only a woman could do that. Australia in a commanding position, my arse, we were well in control when I went to bed, with Lord KP about to enter the arena for Test # 100.
If only I had not opened Cricinfo when I got to work.

Quite enjoyed Michael Vaughan's summing up on TMS:
"He bowls to the left
He bowls to the right
Mitchell Johnson
You've ruined my night"
Great for the series to have the Aussies firing on fast, bouncy wickets. 99% chance of rain now on Sunday. Get singing, people!

The Pantomine cheering/booing for Johnson & Broad is quite amusing, & I suppose adds to it, though I hope it does not get out of hand.
Bit hostile, that Johnson fella, got a bit of Lillee in him.

Golf Banzai!
Lads are 50-1 Miguel Jimenez 1st round leader - 5 places each way, in the world cup of golf. Mig has been Ist round leader twice this year (once outright and once triple joint) and joint 4th. These in full field events.
So must be worth £5ew!
Ha!
Seen far worse 50/1ers than that.
Let the day-dreaming commence.
BET PLACED
In case Tighty missed this (unlikely, I know) but our 50/1 day-dreaming was in vain, & this bet lost.

Don't get so much of that in chess.
For those who haven't followed it, Fred favourite, Magnus Carlsen (we backed him to win the tournament that got him the chance to play for the world title) will likely seal the match today, having played understated but glorious chess. Think Dravid, rather than KP.

Saturday's Betfair 'Chase at Haydock is going to be an absolute rip-snorter with all of the principals standing their ground at today's declaration stage.
I'm not sure if there's any value to be had in the market but it should be an amazing spectacle.
Wow, not wrong, Ralph, what a race!
Current oddds are here. I would imagine there will be some "Offers" on this today & tomorrow.
