Mr 2xUp, that's a very good question, but I've no idea of the answer, no idea at all.

Hi Omm,

Without looking my admittedly split second price was about 12/1. Having looked at the list tho there are a load of players there I couldn't bet with counterfeit at these prices.

Rory is swinging nicely back into form but Stenny can have black spells and far from certain to maintain is current form for the next year. Rose will no doubt be steady but outside those three it feels like the gap between Poulter and some of the players in behind him should be much bigger. I picked about 25 prices out of that list that look laughable too. Schwartzel at 28/1 would be my idea of one of the better prices in that list too coz if he regains his putting touch this season the rest of his game is in very good shape and obv he might get the ball rolling with a win 2morrow, all be it a pretty low key one.

Poulter's lack of wins would be the drawback but his major record is good and he loves money so at 16/1 I think you have a really good each way bet at a qtr the first 4.

cheers

Did you know something that we did not?.........Wink

Good luck on Monday in Seattle. Go the, umm, Seahawks.

Morning Mr T.

Congrats on another profitable month, puts even more pressure on us to continue the streak. Just remember that this man went on a 122 race winning streak.

Today's rugby union match is Newcastle v Quins. It's hard to see anything but a Quins win as Newcastle score so few points, but it is difficult to score up there as the pitch is so boggy. I was looking to get with Quins on the 1-12 points range, but the prices looked about right at 6/4 ish. However there is a cunning way to get the necessary value with bet victor by backing wins by 1-5 points and 5-10 points at a combined price of just over 2-1.

Suggest Quins to win by 1-5 @ 11-2 and 5-10 @ 5-1 both with betvictor £10 on each.

Get paid twice if it lands on 5 points, hector?

Afternoon hector.

Yes, a remarkable thing to have another profitable month, though I can't take any credit, I don't make Recommends, but we have some seriously clever punters here. God Bless them all.

I'm on that bet of yours, thank you. It does look a clever way of getting a better price, though I'm sure the Maths Boys will explain the anomoly.

Incidentally, it is 1-5, & 6 (SIX) to 10, not 5-10, for clarity.

Be good to start December with a winner, good luck.

BETS PLACED

Ha! I tried to pre-empt that, but was a nadge to slow.

So, Spurs v Man U. Predict the result, Posh Bloke?

And if Spurs lose, how secure will AvB be?

If you don't know what you're doing - and I don't - working out good spots to bet in the NFL can be a befuddling business. Three stats about the Denver Broncos QB, Peyton Manning, ahead of their crucial divisional game away against Kansas City:

1. Peyton Manning has averaged 379 passing yards with seven touchdowns and two interceptions in his last two trips to Arrowhead Stadium. (Very good)

2. Manning has averaged 265.9 passing yards with 19 touchdowns and 16 interceptions in his last 11 games after going up against Tom Brady. (Bad)

3. It looks like it will again be freezing in Kansas City on Sunday night. Manning is 3-7 with 11 touchdowns, 12 interceptions and a passer rating of 73.0 when the weather is freezing. (Very bad)

In the words of a famous philosopher, wugwug?

I'm off predictions. Would rather we won

Tighty/Mere.

The Brett Bet was settled by BetFred as per this settlement slip.

10/23/2013 9:32:13 PM  203/
217  W:10.00 S:10.00  Single  2013 World Cup - Tournament Outright/Top Tryscorer  Morris, Brett   14/1  Won  C  £20.00  £195.00

Bet that it was a nice surprise to get paid double what you were expecting!

Even nicer to be able to get more than £5 on Wink

Yes, very pleasing.

However....I'm not 100% sure that the "wrong" payout should be included in the numbers, to be honest. They might yet spot the error, & take it back. That assumes, of course, that it was wrongly paid out, though it does appear to be the case.

Anyway, was a tremendously clever bet, typically Tighty, & he called it exactly right as to how it would happen, bar one game where it went a bit awry.

Good luck to him getting mine back Smiley

It was very clever, and lovely to get paid without even having to watch a game!
