Went here this weekend, any guesses? There is a couple of clues in the photo.

I did see it but thought it paled into insignificance compared to Mr T's ornithological efforts on the Thames. He even managed to get 2 swans in the same picture once.

Knew you would get it Tighty. Was surprised how small the ground was. The official capacity is 11,500 but I thought it was a lot smaller.
One of the guys I was with has now seen the Ospreys abroad 25 times and only win once? Makes you wonder why us fans bother. Oh, I've just remembered, the Red wine and Women.

I don't know if thread has any appetite for pushing on our Newcastle handicap position?
The spreadsheet I have just looks at current points and projects them to the end of the season using average points per game so far.
It is currently showing the following (Bet Victor odds in brackets).
Arsenal 101 (4/1)
Newcastle 99 (12/1)
Everton 98 (6/1)
Liverpool 96 (5/1)
Hull 95 (10/1)
Southampton 94 (9/2)
Swansea 89 (7/1)
Villa 88 (12/1)
Spurs 88 (16/1)
Stoke 87 (20/1)
Norwich 87 (33/1)
Palace 84 (100/1)
They have covered the start they gace to Villa, Swansea and Southampton, and simply just stand out on that table. I have backed them again on the nose this morning (it is now a quarter first 3, which I don't think is great here).
Ant will be proud, I just put a fiver each way on Palace at 100/1 with the 51 point start. Suspect Eso will be too.

Now now, no need. I might just get the camera out this weekend now. Be prepared.
I must say, I thought the photo by Tighty was quite remarkable, very very good indeed, especially with the lineout at that very moment.

Talk to me Doobs, talk to me.
What would you suggest? Another £25, £50?
And win better than EW now?

I am going to urge caution on Newcastle
Pardew was recently quoted as saying the europa league is "a complete waste of time" and "i dont want us to be in it again next season"
This is obviously of the back of nearly getting sacked last season when he could not manage the squad correctly when the fixtures starting stacking up.
So its either Champions League (Still unlikely) or finishing in Europa League places which manager has stated he does not want to do again....

Do you really think he'd "throw" League positions if CL was out of site so as to swerve Europa?
Be easier to qualify for Europa, & then just make no effort (weakened Teams) in the early rounds, surely?

I don't see him throwing points to avoid Europe either, but I think they can almost win the handicap without hitting European qualification.
I wouldn't go crazy with stakes as you have to invest for a long time. Just another £20 on the nose feels fine. I think the place bet is probably closer to 0EV, but the 12/1 looks fine in what looks a 6 runner race with them near the front.

OK, we've done the deed. I pre-empted your reply slightly, & plonked £25 on the nose @ 12/1, in case it went, so thats the bet.
We are the Toon Army!
Plinop will be chuffed to bits.

Morning Mr Tightend.
Just to show that lots of people devour every word and picture of the daily report, and have them as one of their daily highlights. I shall point out that it was the Heineken cup rugby and not the RLWC.
Do you have a particular site that you use for the pictures as they are always excellent?
Almost as good as today's metaphor.
Oddly, that reminds me.
Yes, he does terrific photos, & has built up a good stock of resources to get them, I doubt anyone could do better.
By chance, I discussed this whole subject with Tighty last week.
What with UKPC, & other real-life issues, he is very busy these days, ditto me, so he cannot find time to do them every day, & personally, I much miss them, & I don't think I'm alone. Fred takes up a ton of his time.
I suggested to him that, maybe, we could share his workload with the photo gallery. I dunno, maybe 3 or 4 of us were allocated a day each per week, something like that.
It's not easy to solve, but the photo gallery is an imporatnt part of the whole Fred experience, imo, & worth a little head scratching.
If anyone has ANY proposals in this matter which may assist, feel free to post on the thread, or PM Tighty or myself.
We did let Chompy do one once, but we never repeated the invite, it was all novelty shite & Fatty Tomlin.

From today's "The Game"......
"Waste of money.....
Illegal gamblers are fools. Apparently it costs £70,000 to get a Championship trundler to guarantee he'll get booked.
Would it not just be cheaper to put your money on Lee Cattermole picking up a yellow?....."
