Put as much as you can £50* on Ashley Something to be top man in some reality tat.

After his charge into 7/1 from 100/1, Patrick is now back trading at 29/1 on Strictly for the overall.

Hills, Corals, PP and Ladbrokes are all slow to react, and Ashley can still be backed at 11/10.  Though I expect a couple of those won't last long.

I think this is still a good price.  Just do it.  You could even arb it if you are feeling cowardly, though I don't think you should.

* I know Tikay will baulk at a max.

Groan.....

Thank you.

We got £50 @ 11/10 with Mr coral.

Details later, or in the morning.

BET PLACED

BUMPED - COMPLIANCE RULING REQUIRED

We appear to have a problem with this bet.

It was placed 7 minutes after you Posted the Recommend, on 18th November, @ 17.33.  This is clearly recorded on this thread, AND the "Fred Bets" thread. It is likewise recorded on the Spready.

We followed Ashley Something with great enthusiasm for weeks on end, & eventually, it was settled on the Spready as a LOSS.

I was checking something on my Corals Account this morning, & came across this......

There are no other Bets on my Coral Account for SCD on that date.

It would appear some mis-clickage may have arisen by someone that day.

Think we need a Ruling by Compliance.

There is no way I would have had an "off-thread" wager on SCD. It looks to me that I became confused by Doobs wording. (His fault, obv).

If need be, I can get this bet verified by someone by giving them temporary access to my Coral Account.

personally i think it is a bit different to backing something very late or after it has started than backing the opposite side?

I honestly have no idea what we should do, but it is clearly Doobs fault.

!

How Golden?

I presume the other two Ashley bets were placed correctly? Bet365 and Doobs for £18.85 total?

Tempted to allow it, innocent mistake, rub of the green, thems the breaks, carry on more of the same. 2,499 other bets to check?

You ignored my tip on Patrick at 16/1 and 11/4, and clearly chose to spite back him at 11/10.  Good work I think*

* not serious.  Think you should remove the £50 from the spready and add another win to the increasingly profitable misclick files.  The £15 that was at 13/10 with me should remain.

I think that must be the real reason they hide the individual performances.  Guess he'll be at least 2nd to Neil.

I just checked my Bet365 Account, & the Ashley bet was correctly placed, & settled as a loser.

By definition, if Doobs laid a bet for me, it must be correct, & presumably I later settled up with him as a loser.

I've no idea how this should be treated by Fred.

I thunk the losing bet should be removed. It never happened. The winning bet in root remains off spreadsheet

Don't think we've ever had one before.

Fair enough, but what would you have done if you had noticed it at the time. Would you have told us but kept it off thread?

Mr Omm(Original Mountain Marathon?)

I haven't gone in again, purely as I did more than my max last night. Cometh the hour, I am sure Betty will get a few more as a result of twitchy fingers.

Would be happier if Dickie was on board but he is at Uttoxeter riding one of Rog's horses they have been working hard to learn to settle for Hobbs, but Byrne taking off 3 is ok.

I would have fessed up immediately, but it is for Compliance to decide what to do, I'd have left it to them, it is really for Doobs & MereAwkwardPedant to decide.
