Everton's next 5 fixtures:

Sunderland (H)
Southampton (H)
Stoke (A)
Norwich (H)
WBA (A)

I'd be disappointed with 10 points from that little lot.

They've already played Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal away.

I think this is the most open top division race in my lifetime and Martinez, Barkley, Lukaku and the boys have completely won me over.

Suggest £30 @ 33/1 with Ladbrokes or Coral.

Reevaluate after the above five fixtures to see if we want to hold or trade.

Ooh, thanks Keith.

Sweat ON.

Ladbrokes even permitted me the full £30 @ 33/1.

We'll need to keep an eye on this, in case trading is required.

More for Tighty to report on, too. Wink

BET PLACED

Mr Doobie Doobie Do will even approve as it's 29-30 on Betfair.

Well yes, I checked that first, obv. Wink

Anyway, he can get some on with Ladbrokes if he so desires, they'll probably allow him as much as 20, maybe even 30, pence.

Just to clarify for everyone:

We are on Everton to win the league and Liverpool to be relegated.

Quite a portfolio.

If you have a youwin account you can get a tasty 16-1 on Everton for the FA Cup (13.5 on Betfair) , As like you Keith they have impressed me,  thought the League might be a step to far at the moment but the FA Cup could be a nice little bit of silverware for such a team.

I will approve even more if you take money from Ladbrokes.  They have impressed this season, remarkable from Martinez after relegation.  Would surely be some sort if record.

Maybe I'll be happy with an Everton, Toon one two.

And Tikay I get 10% of whatever you can get so they may lay me £3, though am guessing it is the same 5 I could get on Newcastle.

interesting lil piece on the first third of the NBA season, our rookie of the year bet on Michael Carter-Williams, MCW, or MC Dub, a non tiddley 14-1 shot we backed. If he can keep a bit freer or injuries we're a shoo-in.

http://espn.go.com/blog/marc-stein/post/_/id/880/rookie-of-the-first-trimester

There's 5 NBA games on Xmas Day, and our friends at PP seem to be doing some offer that if u place 5 bets of £5, u get a £10 bet on the Boxing Day NBA. I've not looked at the terms yet, safe to say I will first, but seems perfect for captain tiddlearse, esp if it combines the other offer too. Will take a look after I've finished peeling spuds and wrapping up power rangers....

I'd be interested to hear any opinions on MOUNT BENBULBEN for the King George, 18.5 on Betfair with roughly 4.0 on place, 16-1 with coral (5.0 place) from what I have read he will be suited by the ground/trip/right handed track. Concerns would be his Jumping but reports are that he has schooled quite well  (that would be said I suppose) .  Anything else that would make the price unattractive or is there some value there?

Our own Pricewise told me to chuck a couple quid on a while back, so he must have something about him.

Looks like he gets another endorsement from Ben Linfoot too.

If Camel can recommend Everton for the title, Mt Ben for the King George seems like a walk in the park.

Slower ground should help his suspect jumping, and I think this will be his Gold Cup as he dont jump left handed.

Think you have to back it on the numbers, and I have; but I don't like that he is bottom rated and a dodgy jumper.   Don't they all go on heavy apart from Cue Card?

Also blindfolded myself and backed Champion Court at 59/1 as well.  Was going ok last time and his saddled slipped.  Goes on heavy, doesn't really seem to stay.

Really have got a right team for this with Cue Card ante-post too

Merry Christmas all

I have always considered Champion Court to be a top of the ground horse.

Hardly controversial and not really a recommend but I like Dynaste @ 7/2+

Happy Xmas everyone, only two sleeps to go now...

When all fully fit I think Man City are an absolute class above in the Premier League

But take out 2 or 3 of Toure, Kompany, Silva and Aguero, well they become almost mortal.

I don't think there's a gnat's chuff between the other 5 or 6 near the top.

backed brooklyn -3, ny +8.5, Lakers +9, Spurs -7 and Clippers -2.5....see no reason why we wouldn't get the free bet from PP too for placing 5bball bets but we'll wait n see, not got much time to spend looking or researching the bets too much. gl

Only thing regarding Everton for me is jelavic is too old and if Lukaku loses form or gets injured they will struggle.

I like it though, this season really is very exciting.

I think seams Coleman has been fantastic this season btw, top top player. Would absolutely be England's first choice rb if he was English.

Next yer really could be a year to bet against them early doors and something we should look out for ASAP a get on

Assumptions

- they will definitely be in Europe which has showed teams have struggled with previously. Newcastle this season and 2 seasons ago compared to last season
- they have a very thin squad and will struggle with a lot f games and reaps expectations
- jagielka/distin both pretty old (jagielka may not be? Lol) and do well at 1 game a week it seems
- Barry and Lukaku both on loan and the latter will be very very expensive to replace
- delofue (spelling) will potentially be back at Barcelona
- Baines/Barkley will be targets for the failing big clubs especially if Everton succeed or England do well at World Cup

Al of these things into consideration we could maybe gt a v stupid number for Everton to be relegated early when the bookies do the initial prices. If not relegated e could lay them in every form of handicap race especially heads up bets vs the teams who just missed out on Europe, perhaps Tottenham/newcastle

I wouldn't assume Everton will make Europe as they definitely need to finish top 5 & it looks very competitive & with how things are going they could as easy finish 7th as they could 4th. It's also weird with Distin who probably doesn't get enough praise as he should, never thought id be saying he is one of the most consistent defenders in the league!

Looks like an interesting Boxing Day at Kempton too, if it stays on of course & more of the money back if second bets!

What is a sobering Xmas though regarding Fred, is that I wonder where Blonde poker forum would be without TFT. Hopefully some more fantastic sweats for 2014.

Merry Xmas TFT.
