6/1 Cue Card for the Champion Chase with S*ybet

Do they employ odds compilers or monkeys?

How could anyone come up with that price?

I don't know what the deal with this is, is it racing that race? Is that a good price?

If Sprinter doesn't show up in the Champion I would take 1/5 Cue Card does.

He clearly won't stay the Gold Cup trip and the Champion is about 1000 times more prestigious than the Ryan Air.

Who wants to pick up a trophy from scumbag O'Leary anyway?

If I was a bookmaker, there's no chance I would be offering odds on the Champion until the smoke clears a little bit - too easy to get picked off by people with more information than me.

But, in short, yes 6/1 is an amazing price.

Ladbrokes meanwhile are possibly even worse.

4/6 SS
5/2 SdG
5/2 CC

That's 117.2% on the top 3.

Joke of company.

that's utterly rancid - if their shareholders had the slightest clue about betting they would just demand that the entire senior management responsible for that pish gtfo.  They are actually at the level of street corner conmen beggars - only the stupid or gullible will place bets with them.

They are NRNB, which mitigates the over round a little

But can't see the point of that so far from the race.

All in run or not is the whole reason for ante post betting.

You have a great chance of getting a decent price about your fancy - but you are taking the risk your horse doesn't run.

The prices Ladbrokes are offering are almost certain to be shorter than the ones you get on the day of the race.

(I suppose if Sprinter shows up - 4/6 might be big)

Why would anyone not love next manager markets?

Ladbrokes still have Pepe Mel at 5/4 for Baggies job, even though he's heading for 20. Not a palp, they just haven't adjusted the market.

Mendilibar 5/1 looks an easy trade.
