http://www.pgatour.com/tournaments/hyundai-tournament-of-champions/leaderboard.html

We have a lovely final day sweat on young Mr Jordan Speith, after a round of 69 he is T1 with 2 others after the leader yesterday- Zach Johnson blew up with a 74 +1 round. Still feels like things can go either way as the best round of the day was a 65 from a guy in the middle of the pack. Harris English is 6 shots back in t16 ( shows how close the scoring is)

Regardless of what happens this tournament is the sort that Jordan should be doing well in because it plays to his putting strengths, I think we are hopeful of big things from Spieth this year or next, let's hope the bookies keep him in large double digit figures.

Oh my, excellent news to wake up to!

Thanks, & fingers crossed that he prevails today.

There is some serious golfing talent within 3 shots of the lead, so we should not get over-optmistic, but I would have taken tied for the lead going into Day 4 when it began.

You boys think the Mothers will start shorter than 1/2? If so, we should be having £1100 to win £800 with a view to laying some back nearer the time.

Do we think San Diego could be this year's NYG/Baltimore? Everything coming together at the right time and about the same price as that pair were going into the divisionals.

You are quite right, we can't lose, but Fred won't be doing that, unless we can spread it around 5 or more bookies, as I need to preserve the few clean accounts I have left.

Fred's average bet size over 2,500+ bets is around £35, so if I suddenly start lumping 4 figure sums on odds-on shots, it might just be gg my remaining accounts.

To be truthful, I don't want to start betting those sort of sums right now, it takes me out of my comfort zone, & I already have a ton of stress in my life away from Fred right now, as well as some serious responsibilities to the UKPC, so don't need more. The suggestion is appreciated though.

In any case, our Bankroll Rules do not permit bets of anything remotely aproaching 4 figure sums. The notional bankroll is £3,000, + profit, minus forward liabilities. Ask me to to a 4 figure bet/lay thing & the misclick opportunities are limitless.

Great news Omm

I must confess though, I do feel somewhat like you have broken into my house, taken a picture of one of my kids and been forced to watch as you have gone around telling everyone he is yours, just as he is about to graduate, when I have paid all the bills to get him there! Wink

Totally agree with Chompy.

Maximum where possible.

£1100 to win £800.

I follow Motherwell and have been playing fantastic football. We dropped the top scorer and still scored 4. Scoring goals from Everywhere.

Get ON.

Spend the Max? You should be an Arsenal fan. Wink

No no, ain't gonna happen, you are Mr Spieth's Promoter in these parts, & Mr Maths is your able Deputy.

Lee Ryan out to 6.4 on bf and 9/2 on sky. Don't think much of it myself but I know there was a lot of positive views when he first went in and the price dropped quickly.

Ollie has come across as a decent chap the way he has looked after old Lionel, probably the one to beat.

Was this one of Chompys back to lay jobbies?

I do hope so !

Come on Tikay, I can't wait until the morning to find out how much you've had on.

On Lee Ryan?

I don't believe Fred has a bet on Lee.

It was Recommended by Mr Wheeldon @ 4/1 but it was 9/4 within minutes, & nobody got the 4/1, not even the Great Man himself. He was offered 9/4 to a max of £25, so I think he swerved it, too.

No, sorry, my mistake. Motherwell.

Ahh, that's different. I missed the best of the price, so just had a standard £60. I have explained my reasoning to Chompy, & also to "spend spend spend" Forth Thistle.

Sorry, but I'm a bit of a wimp in these matters. Wink

Hearts are awful, Motherwell are good but isnt it all in the prices now?

Cant see anything else that has come to light to suggest they should be sub 1-2, they rate a bet at 8-11 i think but not sure they are bet of the year/season

Tighty,

I'll get the BETS thread updated in the next 20 minutes, don't think there is much.

It seems you & I are alone in that view John.

Our experts - & I mean that seriously, not sarcastically - think they should be 4/7, & I accept that at face value, but in reality, the Market has them at around 4/6, & I doubt that is far wrong. Somewhere between the 2 is likely.

I think the logic is not so much the bet itself, but the idea of trading if we got on at 8/11 & could lay at whatever, though the original Recommendeer, KMac states he does not wish to lay it off, whilst Mr Wheeldon does. My shoes get very uncomfortable sometimes.

I am just not terribly comfy with betting to trade generally, especially right now. Whether Fred - or a substitute Fred - should be Trading a lot is another matter altogether. I could not cope with it right now, in truth, I'm on overload already.

If San Francisco win this one tonight, that means I've picked three out of four results correctly and the only one that let me down on the accumulator was that freak comeback in Indianapolis. Tighty style rant not impossible.

Still 8/11 on Totesport or 4/6 most other places.

The Totesport 8/11 is mythical, it does not currently exist.

It states 8/11 on Oddschecker, but clicking the Link takes you to a dead page......

http://www.totesport.com/portal?action=GoEvent&ev_id=1477393&aff_id=9

I also searched the site direct, not via Oddschecker, & the market is not there right now.

Oh dear, in no way would I ever break into daddy's house and I'm very sorry for making you feel in such a way, I'll make sure that I am mindful of previous recommendations and am certainly more than happy for you to report on tmrws graduation (let's hope it's there to report). I can assure you that my only intention has been to get Fred informed of an official bet placed position which of course was only placed with your timely backup post.

The kids would certainly have ate less turkey for Christmas if it wasn't for who we now call in our house Father Christmas

No no, ain't gonna happen, you are Mr Spieth's Promoter in these parts, & Mr Maths is your able Deputy.

That would definitely be the right order if Deputy Adz was the first person to tip him on the thread .

And no issue with Omm here, if it wasn't for him I would have no sweat.
