Man city away to newcastle. Over 2.5 goals
http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/newcastle-v-man-city/over-under-2.5
History shows its a high scoring game without taking into account citys form. And reading preview, coccini missing from geordie backline. Thirty-eight goals have been scored in the last 11 league matches - almost 3.5 goal per game on average.
Would think this is fairly strong to be considered?

Problem with bets like this is that all that info is built into the price.
Good luck if you play it, but I would think it's highly unlikely that there is much in the way of value there.

City have scored 92 goals in 31 games (all competitions).
Man City to score 3 or more goals in the next game, 7/4, odds with just one bookmaker.
2.83 on betfair.
Any value?
That too

Yes your probably right. I forget this thread is for value as much, if not more than a 'should win bet'.

To be honest, when the stats are that loaded towards one side, the value is much more likely to be on the other side.
The whole world sees Man City score bucketfuls and concede a few too.
Books know most people know this and will price it up a shade defensively.

Apart from not going out of bounds to give his team the chance to tie and throwing the ball forwards five yards from the bloke he was aiming for, nailed it.

How many do they average away against teams in the top 10?
How many shots on target per game?
What is their ratio of goals per shots and goals per shots on target?
Similarly what are those ratio for goals conceded for Newcastle against a top 3 team?
With Collocini missing how much more likely are Newcastle are to concede three or more?
When Man City score 1, what is the probability of them 2, 3 or more?
Weather forecast?
What I'm saying is - dividing the amount of goals by games played is NOWHERE NEAR information.
It's ice cream punting.

It must have been a called play, surely?
It looks like Sproles (?) was ready for the catch.

Yes, you'd think it was, but stepping out of bounds with five seconds left is better than a lateral pass across the entire pitch with two defenders nearby, surely?
Should be way more lateral passes in the NFL. Reckon I'd be a fun offensive coordinator. Kevin Keegan mould.

If it's perfectly executed it has a chance.
Sproles looks like he has one, maybe two men to beat for a td.
