What do you think about Posh's chances in the cup match tonight, Chompy?

As a Posh fan that's been to the last 12 games. Kidderminster at 6/1 with 365 is very appealing.

Chompy hasn't exactly been singing their praises of late, so that was kind of the answer I expected.

Hello TfTers, I'm running a competition on the Sky Greyhounds tonight - really simple, you flick a tenner in, pick a dog from each race, NAP and NB two, then sit back.

Three photo gallery's, awesome.

Horsey, I was going to use a couple that you had tomorrow. What's with the Bob Marley one?

And why does Anderson and Pizza equal Florence and the Machine?

Fiorentina are in talks with Man Utd regarding bringing Anderson to Florence, Italy.

FFS... We've all backed Fiorentina!

Going for a comf 4-0 win, with Jermaine binking one of them at 6/1.

Golf Fans - I know nothing about the game, well not a lot.  I know how to play just.  But a young lad who works alongside me has given me his selections for an upcoming tournament.  He seems to do well to small stakes and over the past year anytime he has mentioned anything to me the player seems to have run well.  I will be honest I don't bet much on Golf so couldn't tell you if what he says is value or not.  Today he comes up to me out the blue and says he's starting his blog back up, I never knew he had a blog.  Says these are my selections not tips.  Which is fair enough, he knows I punt and would probably get on all the bets.

I thought I would post his thoughts on here for consideration and if they do ok I'll share his blog with you all.  I had a look today and he seems to do a good bit of research on it and although he's not what I would call a gambler he is in the habit of checking out Betfair so he must know a little about it.

I would appreciate any feedback from the gold fans/bettors on here and I will say to him.   The only bit I sighed loud at was the cash out facility.

Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship 2014 – My selections

The Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship gets the 2014 desert swing under way, the European Tour’s mini-trip of the Middle East. Last year we had Tiger Woods, this year we have big Phil Mickelson gracing our screens along with 3 other of the worlds top 10 golfers, being: Henrik Stenson, Rory Mcilroy and Sergio Garcia.

The course is a bit of a monster at at 7,600 yards but there should be a good bit of run on the fairways so it’s not necessarily a pre-requisite that big hitter will automatically win. Looking at past performances, Mcilroy, Garcia, Kaymer, Stenson and Casey, all easily average over 300 yards so distance is obviously a favourable attribute around here, but with over 80 bunkers on the course, many of which are just off the fairways, accuracy will be key.

My selections:

Thomas Bjorn – 25/1

The great Dane is enjoying a fine period of form at the minute with 3 top 10s in his last 3 outings, including a win at the Nedbank in South Africa last month and a runners up finish at the World Cup of Golf at Royal Melbourne. His top 10 last week could’ve been a whole better if he hadn’t started with a 79 but showed great character to bounce back from that dismal opening round.
Looking at his stats, he had the joint most top 10 finishes on tour last year with 8, was 3rd here back in 2012, already a winner this season and up to 24th in the World. Not short off the tee by any means as he is averaged 283yards last year, but it is putting that is the main factor in this renaissance. His average putts per round have fallen from 30.36 to 29.33 over the last 3 years, which may not sound a lot but that is a stroke a round that he has been saving, undoubtedly contributing to his stellar performances over recent months.

Bernd Wiesberger – 45/1

11th on the Stroke average stat last year with 70.24 over 93 rounds. 4 rounds of 70 here would do very nicely and with his power he should be right at home. Long off the tee but sometimes slightly wayward with the big-stick but his GIR is impressive, averaging 13 greens hit per round. With this course being quite wide open with no trees, even a slightly off-line drive shouldn’t be too badly punished as he should still be able to hit the dancefloor. Would’ve liked 50s for him but feel there is a big performance in him and he will step it up this year in the bigger tournaments.

Tommy Fleetwood – 80/1

Was gutted for him last week for not seeing it through but a winner last year on tour, this youngster has only good things ahead of him. I always like to see the ‘bounce-back-ability’ factor’ in athletes, how they respond to disappointment and react to it. 80/1 on Bet365 although likely to fall as everywhere else has him at 60s.

Top 10 finish – Padraig Harrington – 5/1  - The Irishman is coming into a bit of form and will be desperate to get back on the Ryder Cup team so will want to keep last weeks performance going. 2 top 10s here in 07′ and 09′ respectively.

1st round leader – Shiv Kapur – 200/1

Wildcards – What I like to do is on a Wednesday, go on Betfair and have a look at some of the long shots at 300+ to win and pick 5 guys and place £2 each on them. Throw a dart and see whose name it lands on.

They don’t have to win but if they get off to a solid start that massive price you’ve been quoted will plummet then you most definitely be offered a cash out as the odds will have reduced massively if he’s up there on a Saturday or Sunday.

It has worked for me a couple of times with Derek Ernst last year being the stand out, pocketing £350 from a £2 stake.

For this week I’m going to go for a few of the Challenge Tour graduates who’ll be looking to mix it up with the big boys for the first time.

I’ve backed:

Victor Riu – 300/1

Sihwan Kim – 300/1

Francois Camels – 400/1

Tyrell Hatton – 500/1

Jamie Mcleary – 750/1

Good luck with whatever you are backing!

It was just best value not "most likely", so just check vs oddschecker for a close to best price.

As it must be lights out in the OAP home, have tried to pick a PP price that is close to optimum for the offer, have come up with Michel Pryziecny at 1/2, I've always been a big admirer of his, esp in goal for Arsenal

Utterly gutless show-ponies. Tranmere are 11/2 with BMU for their trip to fortress London Road on Saturday, that's all I'm saying.

Seventeen texts between flouncing out of the ground and arriving back in the fens! Why didn't I choose Arsenal when I was 14?

Good news is Britt is now on penalties. Bad news is he's in an awful team.

Where's the delete post option gone? Just hit quote instead of modify by accident.

Couldn't have backed Kiddy tonight tbf, and kudos to GlennDTD for putting them up at 6/1. Good to have a useful Glenn on the thread.

I passed this on to the guy who was organizing an attempted syndicate spin up, but was overruled unfortunately.

I saw it but was already in the Kiddy camp by then. What does Chompy know?
