Think we should do the new winner bet for now.  I don't really like betting most of the former winners.  Real pain lies in backing 80% of the book and still losing.  Sure there is a name for that bet.  

Edit.  I have had a rethink already 4/5 for 2.5 months for a small edge isn't something I am doing on my own coin.  Sure it is ok for those with better cash flow.

That would be my thoughts Doobs, irrelevant as they may be.

Am I missing something here?  BMU have 4/5 a first time winner for the Masters.  Taking the prices of any past winner less than 1000-1 and backing them plus backing the 4/5 seems to be a 93% book?

Can I suggest Tighty's selections have auto bet status ?

There are older winners Sandy Lyle Olly etc as I said earlier you could back all the 1000-1 2500-1 shots for another 2% of the book, so still an overlay.

Anyway my suggestion is to bet this now and see what offers 6 places EW etc is available to hedge nearer the day and increase EV.

If say 30 of us have taken advantage, that seems a reasonable number to suddenly cull for what is, in effect, their error.

That could amount to a large amount of turnover that needs replacing because YOU(the company) weren't on top of things.

Seems a very strange way to run a business.

Snap up the 4/5 now as it simply has to be value, and then let the debate begin whether any of the former winners are value at a later point.

If say 30 of us have taken advantage, that seems a reasonable number to suddenly cull for what is, in effect, their error.

That could amount to a large amount of turnover that needs replacing because YOU(the company) weren't on top of things.

Seems a very strange way to run a business.

It is a bit like the owner of an All You Can Eat buffet not letting the massive bloke who ate all the pies and drank the ketchup come back the next day.

They only want people in there who let them make a profit. Savvy punters need not apply.

They don't pay you for looking after kids or playing poker ldo.  I'd query highest paid too.  Surgeons, barristers, merchant bankers are probably higher.  

I don't think I pleaded poverty either.  Gambling funds are different to my long term money, and for me, releasing any of the long term money isn't desirable to earn a few percent over 3 months.  Not sure thread should be going it either whilst there is so much invested long term*.

* though a better solution is probably to increase the bank than do no long run bets.

To try and adapt your analogy , the all you can eat shop has a sign outside saying eat for £1 instead of £10. There may well be a few fatties in that lot but just as many skinny folk, but they all took advantage of the shops mistake. Do you ban them all for your error?!!

I suppose I'm slowly coming to the thought they're a business and can do business with whomsoever they like. If they decide they don't want people eating in there who are going to take advantage of their mistakes, it's annoying but not immoral.

It is a joke if they close as this is clearly as case of a lazy odds compiler. If you look at his round, the guy basically stopped trading market early when our man birdied 17 and 18.

bet365 literally shocking for restricting accounts of people who punt on obscure markets, bet mainly on icelandic football & womens football and I must've had atleast 15 accounts fully limited, wouldn't surprise me at all getting chinned on this bet

Went to my local Ladbrokes, asked if it was ok to receive numerous £25 free bets if both teams scored in the Manure Chelski game, the manager basically laughed me out the door, telling me where the terms and conditions were (told her I'd read them) telling me it was a max refund of £25 (told her that was per market and there's over 100 markets) and after her asking how many I wanted to do (I said 8 or 10) she said no chance. If they had a bouncer in there she'd have had me physically bundled out the back door. Service with a smile. Have gone online instead, don't care if they close my acc afterwards
