It wasn't quite a Colin Kaepernick moment, but my oh my Eugenie Bouchard was mighty impressive in winning her quarter final v Ivanovich, she's got a huge first serve and played the big points nervelessly.

Azarenka and Li Na can definitely be vulnerable in the big moments.

I wouldn't want to back either at this stage at < 6/4

10/1 Bouchard seems big to me.

Thoughts?

I just got matched at 12/1 on the machine.

That's got to be a good bet.

If over 10/1 is available when Grandpa wakes from his beauty sleep - I suggest £50 win.

This girl is the real deal.

Night night.

Think it depends on if you think Halep/Arad have a reasonable chance of overturning Azarenka on the other side.    I imagine Azarenka would be 1/5 or something in a final against Bouchard so if that is the case then 10/1 looks a bit skinny?

There is no need for a daily report today, as no bets placed or completed yesterday

In action in our positions, we have a (trading?) position in Everton at 33-1 for the Premier League, and I don't suppose a 1-1 draw at WBA was too helpful for that.In fact you can get 100-1 this morningon Everton

The Australian Open mens Quarters are playing out currently Djokovic is currently 1 set all with Warwinka, to play Berdeych who beat Ferrer in the same half. We have  6/4 outright, he went 4/5 and is now 6/5 and presumably back to odds-on if he wins

Murray, Federer and Nadal are all in the other half

Didnt see the match, never heard of her, but didn't she only beat the 14th seed? I expect the girls left may be a bit more formidable. For all that, I am on!......

Ivanovich looked back to her very best, she was world number one 6 years ago.

Bouchard has the complete game (except for a terrible second service) and simply hit Ivanovich off the court.

The only thing I'm worried about is reality hitting her and she realises what a huge deal making a Grand Slam semi final is.

But there was zero signs of any jitters yesterday, she played the big points superbly.

I think if she maintains the level of play she showed against Ivanovich she'll beat Li Na and will having a fighting chance v Aza.

At 12/1 it's well worth taking the chance imo.

I dunno, maybe there's a decent chance she lets down after her terrific performance today.

I've backed her outright and I'll be backing her to win the semi at 7/2. (I would have taken 5/2, maybe as short as 2/1!)

Stick with your gut instinct mate. Thats the key.

You answered my question, and I am happy to be on. They gotta make the breakthrough at some point.

My Ladbrokes experience: I played in multiple markets in Chelsea/Man U game and spoke to Manager when placing bet on Sunday morning about refund as free bets. When I presented my betting slip to same Manager today, I was paid out on winning bets but no free bets were generated automatically. I had to ask them to write out the free bets (small win as these have no expiry). Leaves a bad taste in the mouth... Obviously I should buy some cakes next time

Has anyone got stats as to the percentage of times the guying serving first in a match which goes to 6-6 in the fifth set with no tie break wins?

Commentators banging on what a huge advantage serving first is, I'm tempted to think the guy serving second might be value.

I bet it's near enough 50:50 who wins.

Stan never even hit evens before that last point

£17,048,355 matched on the Match Odds market alone, with £16,315,339 of that on Djokovic
