Doncaster Rovers signed Billy Sharp on loan. Absolute fan favourite, been announced in the last hour or so. Doncaster away at Blackpool this weekend, and whilst I think we've played poorly when I've seen them, Blackpool aren't in any sort of form and the price hasn't yet changed to reflect Sharp likely starting.
Recc £40 3/1 Doncaster with BetVictor. (This is a touch standout anyway at the moment)
Thanks Adam.
This has now eased a tad to 31/10.
I'm not knocking the suggestion, but does signing this Billy Sharp chap really change the perceived value?
http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/championship/blackpool-v-doncaster/winner
Yes but, as we established in the photo gallery, they've also signed Terry out of East17.
I like the price, but the unpopular Ince going (and his son is a primadonna too) gives Blackpool a lift doesn't it?
Fan fave Billy was a 1 in 2 striker for Doncaster over 3 seasons, hence the adulation but since then
1 in every 4 for Forest last year and 1 in every 5 for Reading this
Can't see his signing makes them say a 5/2 shot on its own

Does not change the fact Blackpool have a very small squad and are just not very good
The 7-2 was a mythical earlier in the week but the vc price now is very tempting

That was the point I was trying, badly, to make.
The price looks about right, I'd say.
With the doubts as to how Blackpool might react, post-Ince, the game looks a swerve for all but the brave.
To be fair to Adam, I'm not sure if Ince was still at the helm when the sacking was announced. That does rather change things.

Anyone come across/use racebets.com?
Yes.
Fine for about a week, then ban hammered.
If you want to bet with them, open during Cheltenham week imo.
I must say, the site looks beautifully organised, very slick, easy to navigate.
This is today's Racing.....
https://www.racebets.com/en/horse-racing/
Click "Ante-Post" (top of left-hand sidebar) and it is all there, laid out nicely.
Who owns them, any background info?

Woods is fine as double says the course differences were massive yesterday so far to early to be down on that one
thanks for the desert island discs link Neil fascinating listen
Pat Perez hit -5 on this course. Currently 20/1 price boost win only with BetFred. Got to be worth at least a tenner of Fred's money? Beats Betfair, he is local and has recently changed clubs/coach for background. This should explain the improved form.

Does anyone have an opinion on the Australian Open semi-final that starts tomorrow morning at 8:30 between Federer and Nadal?
I am thinking of going with Nadal to win 3-1.
Morning Greeky.
I missed that. You are in with a shot, though, Nadal currently leads 2 sets to 0, 2-2 in the 3rd.

Desperate situations need desperate measures.....
Mr P is 18/1 on Betty, so we've had £10 @ 20/1 with BetFred.

REMINDER
Sunday see's Fred celebrate it's 2nd Birthday.
I'm hoping we can have a fun day, some nice photo-galleries, some "Best/Worst Fred Moments", & maybe, just maybe, a winner or two.

I don't think having 8 winning months in a row is so bad. Just have to carry on doing what you did before.
Just timed that right, I was just reading the background when I saw the price boost. Would have gone £20 if I thought we should panic

Ha!, just messing.
We were well overdue some adverse variance, some run-bad, & I'm a big boy, it does not bother me one jot, except for ego, &, you know, pride.
That's pride, fucking wit you.......

I was having a look at the golf late last night and I bet Perez at 18/1. Think he is a great bet at 20/1.
Brilliant photo-gallery again Rubbish, sorry I put that bet up so late yesterday.
