It's his best form of the game in the sense that it's his most likely one to get into an England team for, but I don't think he is the answer to a question England have. Not fitting Stokes into this side was more my point, but I stand by my metaphor.

Dernbach has the toughest role in the side and the fact that he keeps getting picked in the face of general brouhaha at his performances is evidence that this is understood by the selectors

Dernbach looks and is simply awesome in domestic T20, but I don't think he is good enough for International T20. Bowls far too many bad balls. If the batsmen play a good shot fair enough but Dernbach bowls these variations which are too good for domestic players whereas Int batsmen pick 'em.
