Chamakh way out of line at 6/1 for a Yellow Card at Arsenal at 4pm with Baldhead. He's had 7 yellows in 24 games already this season.

Just woken up, got to BetFred in the Nick of time - they now go 3/1!

Sorry, he who snoozes & all that.

We are NOT on.

We didn't get the 16/1 Palace I take it.  Currently 22% possession. Palace win massive for the handicap bet as Arsenal are leaders.

May be out of luck though.

Who's going to win Super Bowl?
This. I'm not a fan of the sport but always watch this game and would like a punt. We used to have tonnes of respected tipsters on American footy, now noone's putting anything up, some want to charge for their info, others are presumably scared of stepping on the toes of others so keeping their powder dry.

Fred started two years ago with some great super bowl tips, loads of bets, fun and otherwise. Doesn't look like that's gonna happen now, real shame

I have read in some pages that usually when a team wins the Super Bowl its QB gets the MVP award.

Bearing this in mind is it worth it to bet on Manning to be the MVP, instead on Broncos to win on Moneyline or even on the Handicap, as the odds are a bit better?

Is it mostly always the QB?  Is betting on both Wilson and Manning a +ev move given they are both above evens?

For what it is worth I will put up what I have done on the Superbowl and what I like.  There is some overlap with Neils I think but I am sure he will attest to the fact that it is my own work as we discussed before he released them.

Side - like Seattle and think they should be faves.  I haven't bet it though for a few reasons.  Firstly almost all the bets I have are related to Manning and Denver underperforming.  I think there is more margin in other bets though and I don't really want to get carried out on the basis of one game.

Total - like under 48.5.  Its cold which Manning traditionally isnt so great in.  It has also been pointed out that Denver struggled for a lot of the game against a Jax defense which is very similar to this Seattle D but I think of more importance is the preaseason game they played.  Both teams only played their starters for about 1/3rd of the game but Seattle dominated them and Manning left the game looking very frustrated.  Of course he is Peyton manning but I have noticed in a few press conferences this week he doesnt seem massively confident.

Props - So far this season Denver have averaged nearly 38 points per game.  In this game they are in for roughly 24.5 points and given my views above I think it could be a little less but when you look at the yardage props I don't think that they have been adjusted properly for the reduction in offense that Denver should see in this game.  based on the way I think that the game will pan out I think that the best bet in Decker under 60.5 yards or better.  He averaged 80.5 yards per game this year but this game he is going to be covered by Richard Sherman who is probably close to the best corner in the game right now and I wouldn't be surprised to see them basically just leave him out.  Obviously he will get some targets but probably not loads.  Similarly Demaryius Thomas should spend more of the game covered by Byron Maxwell who has been a revelation since he came into the side 7 games ago.  In those seven games he has only allowed 25 receptions against him and has got four interceptions.  Thomas will get more targets simply because he is a better receiver that Decker but I still think u75ish yards is a pretty good bet.  As for other bets.  I quite like Wes Welker and Marshawn Lynch for first TD at the top prices.  Welker has probably the best matchups of the Denver receivers and i think the fact he has been here before and done it all before will mean he gets a bit more action.  As for Lynch I just fell he will get the ball an awful lot as they will aim to keep the Denver offense off the pitch and denver are fairly banged up on D line so there might be some holes for him to exploit but I would stress I havent actually bet that myself but I do think it is value.

If anyone has any specific bets they are thinking about and want a second pair of eyes then I'd be happy to take a look.  There are so many markets that it is hard to have eyes on them all but there are invariably some great bets tonight!!!!

If you do level stakes on both of them if Manning wins it then your profits will be really small as Manning is only 2.1 to win the MVP.

The stats say that out of the 47 winners, 39 of them belonged to the offensive line-up of the winning team, 8 to the defensive and 1 in the special line-up.

26 out of the 47 winners were QBs. Also the last 4 years the award has been given to a QB.

Thanks red for those thoughts, also to sonour for reminding us of the two Tighty tips. Tighty already gave us the Field Goal tip, but I'm not sure if it was placed, and if not, why not.

We will do those bets that redarmi put up, as well as both of the Tighty ones, so we'll at least have something to sweat on what should be a great occasion.

Am at work this evening, but we are just recording stuff, not "live", and the Producer is an NFL fan, so he has promised us we will be finished by around 10.30, unless Ten Take Orford or Pearly Spittles fluff their lines.

I'll get home and get the bests placed, fingers crossed, and we can maybe have a fun Super Bowl.

If anyone else has Super Bowl recommends, fire away, and if the NFL lads endorse them, we will get on them, too.
