The other day I suggested betting Asian Handicap on Betfair rather than 1-2-X as it has a lower commission rate. It's obviously important that we all do what we can to pay less commission to Betfair and I remembered today that I'd seen a good article on the subject...

Is it Nirvana? Guy tries to beat me, every Monday without fail, in a Uni Chal type-off. Most one-sided battle since Stand Guard and Bix went HU for rolls at southwell tbh.

Isn't 15-to-1 supposed to be coming back? Expecting my invitation to go back on soon...

lolz, such a loser. How did you get on in 15-1 ?

Won series 14 with the MOF, dismantling Daphne and Bill McKaig in the final.

Smiley

Nick Terry there as well?

Wikipedia informs me I owe you an apology, Mr Chompy. You did come top of the finals board with a score of 262 in series 14. Read your post as being your usual dry humour. Proper double bluffed me and everything.

Top player in Luton, surely, with tekkers like that.

Did you win a piece of Greek pottery?

I don't remember the winner of the grand final of that series, Leslie Booth. Seems s/he won both series that year.

15to1 is how I first spoke to chompy. Remember seeing him in the card room and thinking wow, that's that bloke than was on the telly. Used to love 15 to 1.

Loved the story of the guy that went on a second time with a disguise and has his prize taken away from him.

Morning Mr T.

Our tennis bod has a bye in the 1st round and so plays tomorrow.

Also, Andrew Trimble scored a try for Ireland on Saturday and is currently 3= behind 2 people who scored 2 tries. He is now into 16-1.

Trevor Montague? Yes, that's brilliant. I have his AtoZ of Everything book somewhere.

A lad in the year above me at school went on it once. First question was the opening line to a Dickens novel ("It was the best of times; it was the worst of times..."), which he answered Hard Times, probably succumbing to the studio pressure. His English teacher, Mr Dinham, was most unimpressed on the lad's next day at school after the broadcast.

I can't for the life of me remember the lad's name. (cool story, bro, I know...).

Thanks Ex.

Why is that a good price?

I'm not saying it is not, I know nothing of Tennis in Chile, or anywhere else for that matter, aside from I was lucky enough to be present when Rod Laver & Billie Jean King both won Wimbledon one year, but we really need to have some justification.

The prices are here, & 10/11 is currently Best Price by about seven eights of a nadge.

He was on 15-1, I think, with AndrewT, Claw75 & Gatters.

He was also on MasterMind, won his heat I believe. Specialist Subjects the Novels of Ian Rankin, & Archibald Leitch Football Stadium Architecture 1927 - 1953.

Eat yer heart out Chompy.

Think you're thinking of Eggheads, with the team effort, sir.
