Yesterday I bet on the Ladbrokes lock in. I wrote my slip out as below
Supreme Novices
Wicklow Brave
£50
I then went to the next shop to do the same bet again. When I got there the manager was on the phone. She said to me have you just had a bet at Station Street I said yes. She said the cashier wants to know if it is a double.
I said there is only one horse on the slip. Apparently she thought Supreme Novices was a horse.
Out of interest what did they boost it to? 10/1 |

Dubs & Lord G had me all wrapped up. |

Whilst it is still great it is significantly different to last year when the field was decimated. Would also suggest people think carefully before taking a price in the morning too as they seem to have ducked a few. Might be one occasion where taking SP is the best aproach.
