Hills Mobile etc for Cheltenham

I think we should give the 13.30 a miss for now, as Hills are rumoured to be 4/1 Irving tomorrow.  Should definitely hold our Hills powder dry for that.

14.05 I am going to be a bit contradictory here.  Hills are 3/1 Champagne Fever.  He has one twice at the festival, but has had a ropey prep.  But 3/1 is the Betfair price and we get free bet for 2nd, so we should hold our nose and bet regardless.
I have been a fan of Dodging Bullets for a while and have an ante-post voucher.  I think the ground is coming in his favour.  Paddy Power are 6/1 and quarter first 3, both win and place beat Betfair, and definitely think we should take the max we can with Paddy Power on this.  I got maxed at £20 e/w.  I have listened to a couple of Neil's podcasts and he seems a fan of this too.  I don't think much of Grandouet or Rock and Ruby either in this race, so a 1-2 seems inevitable.

15.20  I think this race favours The New One and Hurricane Fly more than My Tent or Yours.  I can see why Neil likes Our Conor, but 3/1 Hurricane Fly or The New One is mathematically better than 5/1 Our Conor under the offer.  Unfortunately Hills are shorter than 3/1 on Hurricane Fly, so think we have to go 3/1 The New One under the offer and try and get some of the 4/1 The Fly elsewhere (for disclosure, I have backed all 3 of these ante post already).

16.00 5/6 Que Vega is a must for the offer at 5/6.

Summary

Hills Mobile
14.05 Champagne Fever 3/1
15.20 The New One 3/1
16.00 Que Vega 5/6

Paddy Power
14.05 Max we can on Dodging Bullets each way.

13.30 £25 Irving at 4/1, just beats Betfair and you get 2nd place free bet.

BetVictor now 6/1 Dodging Bullets.  Still beating Betfair, suggest 50 e/w total is good.  Gogogo.  Bye bye tiddleyarsing.

This is a bet that I'm suggesting as a max & not sure if its been discussed yet.

Hull 4/6 to beat Sheffield United in the FA Cup semi, think that price can only get smaller & the fact they are both on a level playing field at Wembley, should see Hull be good enough to beat them, this also United's best team they have faced could be said was Forest.

Expecting Hull to be full strength & to close to a final to mess it up v a very average league one team. Think 4/6 is huge & be much shorter that week!

Is long and jelavic cup tied?

Are they?

Yes.

Betbright is offering a £30 risk free bet again.
They did it for the imperial cup with the offer being deposit £30, bet on imperial cup, if it loses, money back and a £30 free bet for chelt.
I won on imperial cup, withdrawl went through fine.
Would take up this offer.

The market with bet365 was right Tikay. I'm not sure about the other one but it looks a fair price to the uneducated.

Hills paying 5 places in the Supreme, I make it 15 horses under 100/1, top price on 3 out of the top 4 too. Time to get stuck in?

Vautour and Irving seem obvious.  They are bang on Betfair and you get evens 5 places.  Think they are maxing at 25 e/w but am on my phone so not sure of true max.  Got stuff to do so will look at rest in a bit.

Gilgamboa at 11/1 is obvious for 25 e/w too.  Hills best price.  Can somebody look at the rest?

Afternoon all.

A quick post as knackered. A few handicap snippets.

Cantlow @14s 888 first 5 looks v big, if you can get a bit on. Also amuses me to see Time for Rupert at 16s. Course and distance form and 5th in a Gold Cup, ground coming into his favour, just seems way too big when I look at some of those above him in the handicap and shorter prices.

Not a handicap but I like the 10s 1,2,3 for Doyly Carte w/o Quevega and Cockney Sparrow in the Mares

Finally have been on Manyrivers for a while, but cant resist getting stuck into Close House in the finale. Runs well round Cheltenham and form behind Tarquin de Sueil and Oscar Whiskey looks v good here. At 16s generally I wouldn't put anyone off.

I may have to eat a fair chunk of humble pie tomorrow if things go well, as Choc is on several of my fancies.....Heaven help me!!

Ladbrokes go 20/1 Close House, so we had £10 EW.

Should we dabble on ManyRivers, current price 10/1?

17.15, Close House, £10 EW @ 20/1, qtr odds, 1,2,3,4.

Close House
17:15 Cheltenham

Singles - Race Winner - Each Way

2 lines @ £10.00 per line
.
Total Stake £20.00

Potential Return £270.00

Hill beat betfair on

so including gilgamboa thats the top 4 suitable for £25 e.w

from vanitex and valseur lido down they are not best price and don't beat Betfair

16.00 5/6 Que Vega is a must for the offer at 5/6.

Summary

Hills Mobile
14.05 Champagne Fever 3/1
15.20 The New One 3/1
16.00 Que Vega 5/6

Paddy Power
14.05 Max we can on Dodging Bullets each way.

13.30 £25 Irving at 4/1, just beats Betfair and you get 2nd place free bet.

BetVictor now 6/1 Dodging Bullets.  Still beating Betfair, suggest 50 e/w total is good.  Gogogo.  Bye bye tiddleyarsing.

4 different Firms go 6/1 Dodging Bullets. The Betty Price is currently 6.6, a tad below 6/1.

Still a bet?

Go on, tikay. Fiver Yankee on your Hills Quartet. Let's make some real money.
