http://www.oddschecker.com/greyhounds/ante-post/scottish-greyhound-derby/winner

There has been a key non runner in one of the scottish derby semis tonight.

Suggest betting £30 Hold em spy 11/2 and  £10 Tarbrook Taetoe 16/1 both with paddy power to win the event.  365 the only firm awake to what's going on.  Most firms are fast asleep still dealing with the GN and havent adjusted their prices.

restricted to about 25% of stake but on anyway

 Win
Single: Tarbrook Taetoe @ 16/1
1 line at £2.68 per line
Total stake for this bet: £2.68
Potential returns: £45.56
No: O/23146337/0000459

Win
Single: Holdem Spy @ 11/2
1 line at £7.64 per line
Total stake for this bet: £7.64
Potential returns: £49.66
No: O/23146337/0000460

BETS PLACED

Can have some of mine if you want tighty/tikay?

Robbie Savage was their highest paid player by a mile way past his best on £40k a week. Paul Jewell the gaffer if i am not mistaken. That's how bad that Derby team was.  I was working in Malta that year and i am sure their only win all season was away at Newcastle.  Not meant as a rub but i am sure i had £1100 on Newcastle at 8/11 in a super soccer shop that went off 8/13 on betfair.

Not sure that was a great bet. Derby were a much better side away from home......

Newbury Racecourse's Best Dressed Gent. And What?

View Profile
« Reply #73311 on: April 05, 2014, 08:51:45 PM »

Great hair.

This chap from the day's photo album won Newbury racecourse's best dressed gentleman the year before I did, I kid you not. Thin/pathetic I know but I can't believe he's popped up again!

Unbiased opinion on the boat race? We will smash them.

holdem spy through to the final.  Messy race where the 16/1 shot found trouble.

16/1 shot is out in trouble.  Holdem through to final. First 2 go through

Result here.

http://www.gbgb.org.uk/resultsRace.aspx?raceID=285473-6&racedate=05/04/2014

Result of 2nd semi when the two rags qualified

http://www.gbgb.org.uk/resultsRace.aspx?raceID=285473-7&racedate=05/04/2014

Two jollies through in the 3rd semi final so we should have a bit of value at 11/2.  There were co favs of 3 virtually in the race and 2 of them went through

http://www.gbgb.org.uk/resultsRace.aspx?raceID=285473-8&racedate=05/04/2014

We need Holdem to get t6 ideally in the draw for final.  Holdem drawn 6 in final confirmed

Very good results for the handicaps today barring Newcastle (wish somebody had tipped that result).  Southampton losing as important as Hull and Palace winning.  Haven't done the maths yet, but going to be sweating p3.

Just run my spreadsheet.

Current projected handicap table

Liverpool 104
Everton 101
PALACE 91
Southampton 91
HULL 90
Stoke 90
Arsenal 88
Spurs 87
Man C 87
NEWCASTLE 86

We had a carefully considered bet an absolute punt on Palace at 100/1 (£10 e/w).

Outstanding fixtures

Villa (H)
Everton (A)
West Ham (A)
Man City (H)
Liverpool (H)
Fulham (A)

Hull have
Arsenal (H)
Fulham (A)
Villa (A)
Man U (A)
Everton (H)

Southampton and Stoke have also got easier run ins.  No Point in considering Newcastle.  They are scoring in line with expectations this season an absolute joke outfit, run by a bunch of clowns.

Most of the bets placed so far seem more like hopeful punts rather than value spots
