From the Hull City FC website:

Following the recent ballot of season card holders, the club can confirm the majority of votes cast are in favour of Hull Tigers with the Allam Family continuing to lead the club.

15,033 season card holders were eligible to vote with 5,874 casting votes.

16.7% of the overall number of season card holders eligible to vote said 'No to Hull Tigers'.

The ballots were counted independently by Beyond Dispute, who operate nationally and have worked as independent adjudicators on numerous high profile votes/competitions for the BBC and ITV, amongst others.

The result of the ballot is as follows:

2,565: Yes to Hull Tigers with the Allam Family continuing to lead the club;

792: I am not too concerned and will continue to support the club either way

9,159: Number of season card holders who did not vote

2,517: No to Hull Tigers

We thank all those who voted for sharing their opinion with the club.

I understand the argument about unlocking money so in that instance both parties know what they are doing.

In the specific race today that £596 never ever had a chance to win and the principal should be , like you quoted ,

"If you can't win , you can't lose ". It's that simple.

To hide behind disclaimers is not being fair to Joe Public and the Gambling Commission should take a look at it

because they sniff around everything else in the industry.

There are a few regular guys on headsets on course talking to their partners to 1.01. I stood on the old stand at Beverley a few years ago and the headset guy was saying ' no,no,no,no,no, yes bet it' as they came to the line.  it's evolved a bit from there and some courses are actually renting out boxes to in running players so the exchange shops that used to get the advantage have been usurped by those on course box renters.

I guess that the argument would be that renting out boxes on course is available to anyone so if one guy takes the expense involved in travel, renting and any profit share then he is paying to get the advantage that anyone else could pay for. when people play in running they already know someone knows what's going on well before they do so they are accepting that but still betting, caveat emptor and all that.

Intertops are paying out on the Masters for 2 winners.  That is, if you pick a golfer and he finishes 2nd, they pay you out in full as a winner.  If you want to use the offer but don't have/cba to get an account, I can put on for you.

Simon - it is only the first five bets placed as per their rules so don't put more than that on!!!!

J-Rod out for 6 months so misses the World Cup and the EW part of that Prem top goal scorer bet is all but dead.

Such a shame for the lad, has had such a fantastic season.

Coral 0800 123 777

More chance of getting a sensible amount on if you ring them too. Maybe as much as £10 if you catch the trader in a good mood.

Is Joe whassisname still their main football man? Scotch guy. Used to have a major crush on Poshies.

97% hope and only 3% expectation, but I've had a little bit on Jürgen Klinsmann to be the next man to dive through the revolving door. Can't be having van Gaal at comedy odds on.

Not seen them, but if you think they are value, go ahead. Don't forget our existing positions, though.

Might pay to wait a day or two though, the Market won't move too much, presumably.

Will have some weather and injury news tomorrow, too, fingers crossed. The weather may well be a major factor, so maybe we should wait?

Tilts me beyond belief that he doesn't even attempt English.
