The MastersWe have some right sweats
On 20 year old Jordan Speith for winner at 66-1 and top American at 25-1. He is seven months younger than Tiger when he won his first major
I watched Jordan tonight and I think he's quite a volatile character. Wears his heart on his sleeve. Hopefully not too much of a timeform squiggle in his temperament tomorrow. If he does win, according to Georgia state law, Spieth can buy a beer in the clubhouse bar only if his Mum and Dad are present.
For NFL fans, Jordan looks so much like Jason Witten that you half expect Tony Romo to come out of the azaleas and try and find him on 3rd and 8.
We have Couples top 20 and top senior and he is two behind Jimenez overnight and well in the hunt for both bets. No matter what happens Fred is already a winner. Of the award for awkward fistpump of the week post round with "how on earth does he get this job?" broadcaster Rishi Persad.
We also have a squeak with Gary Woodland at 80-1 too
Football Crystal Palace are giving us half a squeak on two bets after another 1-0 win. Now right in the hunt for an each way placing on the 100/1 Premier League handicap and six points off the top half, for which we have 50-1! Both helped by Newcastle's atrocious form which is opening up a space in the top half. On oddschecker as of now Palace are 16/1 top ten finish. Quite generous
For every upside there is a downside though, as the are unlikely to finish bottom and now are ahead of Hull to be top promoted side, and the Newcastle handicap bet looks sunk
Everton won their seventh game in a row, and as we are clutching a 33-1 league winner ticket, things are on the verge of getting interesting if we get very lucky
In the
Championship Bournemouth clung onto the hunt for 6th with a draw at Yeovil. Fve sides are seperated by two points 6th-10th
Watford took the lead at Millwall in the 86th minute. It's Watford though, and they conceded a 90th minute equaliser. With Middlesborough winning at Burnley (a terrific result for our Leicester bet, who are now 7 points off securing the Championship) Watford are now 13th. Uh oh.
Barnsley now need maximum points from their last five games to stand a chance of winning the top South Yorks club bet.
Jordan Rhodes scored for Blackburn. Whisper it but he now has 24 to McCormack's 27 with 5 games to go. We have Rhodes at 14-1
No goals for Ings, missing chances he was scoring pre-injury frustratingly
Ulloa scored for Brighton and now has 13 to Lingard's 8 in the race to be Brighton's top scorer
In
League One Peterborough won and bet of the century and Esokralsall both lost, a terrible set of results for both bets
Assombolonga and Wilson did not score but Baldock did and all three players are tied in the golden boot race on 21 goals
Look, its David Mooney. He scored a brace, his first goals for eight games, in Orient's 5-1 win to go to 18 for the season, and one goal off an each way placing
In
league two, Portsmouth have won three in a row but need maximum points in their final four games to stand any hope of the play offs, and even then it might not be enough
BaseballThe Royals lost on Saturday, Baltimore and the Yankees are playing now
Basketball Oklahoma (13/2) have clinched their division and a play-off place
Brooklyn (20/1) are currently fifth seed in the other conference and have secured a play off berth
More fun sweats ahead
SundayPotentially a monster. Or a disappointment. Liverpool v Man Cis the biggest football game for the thread for some time, as we have a £195 lay liability riding on Liverpool
The Masters should be a fantastic evening. All you want is a sweat or two on the Sunday evening, and we have that and then some
