Totally felt the same jeff i watched the game last night and they just weren't at it from start to finish.  This is a huge issue around america not just in the nba and it's very hard to see how they could possibly win the nba with this hanging over them.

41/40 is better giving up 1/2 point extra

On some firms the line is 202.5 at 10/11.

From the past when I got greedy I got punished. But thats my experience.

Lets sit back and see. Make the hoops lads.

On opposing the Clippers, and Real Madrid etc etc...fine in principle, just debate and find the right bet for the right time and one of us will be on to place it

eg here's a view  http://bit.ly/1hHxkFO

William Hill have an offer on Greyhound Derby. Upto £100 free bet if your dog doesn't progress pass the first found, free bet must be used on the greyhound derby.

Maybe Scotty, Arboy or Dubai know if there is anything worth doing?

Been a bit of an uproar because in some heats only two greyhounds are going through from the opening round. Previous years it was 3 and 4. I'm posting a lot of Derby content tomorrow that may be of interest.

And thanks for the heads up regarding the offer.

Real Madrid surely have to be a bet @ 19/5 with Billy?

Can't see they should be that big against anyone, unless half their first XI has food poisoning?

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/champions-league/bayern-munich-v-real-madrid/winner

I'll read the papers now to find that Bale and Ronaldo are both out...

It was at 4/1 when I checked last night.

I can't figure out it either why they are priced so high.

I have been thinking of either DNB at 11/4 or Madrid +0.5 at 5/4 as Madrid will still qualify if the match ends as a draw.

Can't see them stopping Real from scoring this year, so they'll need to score a bunch if they want to qualify, and I think that type of game plays more to Real's strengths.

Can't agree more on this mate.

Ronaldo was close to score a 2nd goal in the last match but his absence due to an injury may affected him. He scored two beautiful goals against Osasuna so I can't see how he won't score against Bayern.

In my eyes Bayern are nowhere good as they were last year. They are a shitty/bad version of Barca with no Messi. Just pass pass pass.

Laying Munich is also an option.

Assuming the Washington Wizards beat the Bulls and Indiana stumble past Atlanta, what price would you make Washington to win the series and when does it become a bet?

Article on the RP website about how Lister isn't happy because Sidaz Jack, the defending champion, is in one of the 'two go through' heats with 6 greyhounds. The favourite, Kereight King, is also in the same situation.

Posted by Foxy (you know, Stuart, used to play a bit of poker), and here for Tal

as I couldn't spend the time to work this out!

"I've come to the opinion that Aston Villa are safe as do the bookies who have them at 10/1 to go down. Villa have 35 points, with a -17 goal difference, the best in the bottom five.

Three points or more

Villa would mathematically guarantee safety with three points or more in the final three matches, taking their tally to 38 or higher. Doing so with a home win against Hull this weekend would be best. But, failing that, a win at Manchester City or Tottenham would keep them up, as would three draws.

Two points

If they get two draws and two points, taking their tally to 37, they are 99.9 per cent safe, barring a dramatic results/goal difference swing against them.

One point

If Villa get one draw and one point, taking their tally to 36, then two of the following scenarios must happen for Villa to be relegated.

1 Cardiff beat Newcastle (a) and Chelsea (h), with a 21-goal swing.

2 Fulham beat Stoke (a) and Crystal Palace (h).

3 Norwich beat Chelsea (a) and Arsenal (h) or get four points from a win and a draw, with a 15-goal swing.

4 Sunderland take four or more points from Manchester United (a), West Brom (h) and Swansea (h).

Even if two of those were to occur, Villa could still stay up if West Brom fail to take a point from Arsenal (a), Sunderland (a) and Stoke (h) and there is a five-goal swing in Villa’s favour.

No points

If Villa get no points, leaving their tally at 35, then two of the following scenarios must happen for them to be relegated.

1 Cardiff beat Newcastle (a) and Chelsea (h).

2 Fulham beat Stoke (a) and Crystal Palace (h) or get four points with a win and a draw, with a 25-goal swing.

3 Norwich beat Chelsea (a) or Arsenal (h) with a 15-goal swing, or win both, or win one and draw one.

4 Sunderland win one game with a three-goal swing, or win one and get a least a draw in the other two games. "

Can't help but feel we missed a bet on the Clippers getting blown out last night. Rather than prepare for the game they've had a load of team meetings and had to fend off questions, as well as deal with how they feel and whether they're gonna strike etc after their white team owner was apparently recorded making pretty disgusting racist comments, asking his gf not to bring black people to his games (including Magic Johnson) and if she's gonna use Instagram and other social media, to not post pics of her with black people.

For a black coach and a majority black squad this must be pretty galling, even down to picking up their pay cheques. The owner has been compared to a slave master.

This hasn't gone away tho, the Clips made a silent protest last night, wearing their warm up gear inside out (to not show the Clippers name) and wearing black arm bands/wrist bands. The league is gonna make announcements this week on this guy Sterling, so the story won't go away. They play again on Tuesday in LA with the series tied at 2-2. Is there a bet in there? Oppose the Clippers?

I can't believe I didn't bet GSW yesterday either.  Assuming there isn't too big an adjustment in the relative line I think you just have to bet Golden State for the rest of the series now.  There has to be a chance the Clippers actually want to lose and they certainly aren't going to be killing themselves for the guy and it is tough to see how Rivers is going to ask them to.
