Real Madrid surely have to be a bet @ 19/5 with Billy?

Can't see they should be that big against anyone, unless half their first XI has food poisoning?

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/champions-league/bayern-munich-v-real-madrid/winner

I'll read the papers now to find that Bale and Ronaldo are both out...

It was at 4/1 when I checked last night.

I can't figure out it either why they are priced so high.

I have been thinking of either DNB at 11/4 or Madrid +0.5 at 5/4 as Madrid will still qualify if the match ends as a draw.

Can't see them stopping Real from scoring this year, so they'll need to score a bunch if they want to qualify, and I think that type of game plays more to Real's strengths.

Can't agree more on this mate.

Ronaldo was close to score a 2nd goal in the last match but his absence due to an injury may affected him. He scored two beautiful goals against Osasuna so I can't see how he won't score against Bayern.

In my eyes Bayern are nowhere good as they were last year. They are a shitty/bad version of Barca with no Messi. Just pass pass pass.

The bookies already have my money, so here is hoping that we're right Smiley

William Hill have an offer on Greyhound Derby. Upto £100 free bet if your dog doesn't progress pass the first found, free bet must be used on the greyhound derby.

Maybe Scotty, Arboy or Dubai know if there is anything worth doing?

Been a bit of an uproar because in some heats only two greyhounds are going through from the opening round. Previous years it was 3 and 4. I'm posting a lot of Derby content tomorrow that may be of interest.

And thanks for the heads up regarding the offer.

Article on the RP website about how Lister isn't happy because Sidaz Jack, the defending champion, is in one of the 'two go through' heats with 6 greyhounds. The favourite, Kereight King, is also in the same situation.

I think this makes Jack a bet at 28/1 with hills given the offer.  They are top price on oddschecker anyway.  Presumably he has drifted on bf because of this '2 through' draw as they don't offer the concession hills do.  Is it £100 max refund on the win part of ew bets or £50 ew would be refuned in total.  On his interview last night on RPGTV lister said if he had a £100 free bet for the event it would still go on jack.  He sounded pretty bullish about his chances.

I suspect that Newcastle may be value tonight.  Newcastle have been on a horrible run but then so have Arsenal.  It is possible that Newcastles run was caused by (and certainly coincided with) the absence of Pardew from the touchline and Remy from the lineup.  Tonight both are back.  Arsenals loss of form is less easily explained.  If one of the two teams is more likely to all of a sudden snap out of their recent runs I would guess it is Newcastle and at 14/1 or 10/3ish not to lose I would be willing to have a small bet on them.  Of course the most likely scenario is that they just continue to stink out the place and the momentum is too much to overcome.

12/1 DNB  any good?

£25 @ 12/1 sound about right?

Way out of line with the others who are best priced 9/1 anyway.

Red/Argue....how do u decide what's bes, 10/11 at one total or evens at a point higher or whatever. Is there proper maths behind it or is it a feel thing? Same for if say we can back a horse at 16/1 ew with 4 places or 14/1 ew with 5 places (or whatever).

Is that a question best asked on the maths thread?

I think/hope we give Toon a good whooping tonite as much for the Palace bet as for us chasing 4th place. Should Toon pull a shock out of this, the 12-1 provides good cover for the Palace bet, either way.

As for our loss of form not being easily explained, I beg to differ. A host of injuries and a series of games against the top clubs in better form for a start.

The return of Ramsey and Podolski being given a bit more airtime has helped to steady the ship in last few games.

Just spoke to Hills, they told me over the phone that the free bet is win and each bets, which if you read the t and c's on mobile that is how it is indicated. Unusual for this to happen? Could someone double check the t and c's and maybe even through in another call to Hills just to double check before we steam in.

They are also going to call me back with regards to being able to do multiple runners for total £100 or just first bet counts.

T and c's seem a bit wishy washy.

I don't know what people's views are on Brighton and their promotion chances, but they are 14-1 to get promoted with one game to go.

They are one point behind Wigan and Reading and all have pretty much the same goal difference. However Wigan do have one more game to play.

Birmingham v Wigan

Forest v Brighton
Reading v Burnley
Blackburn v Wigan

All have difficult games & I think 14/1 is generous here in one place with Victor, whilst 12 anywhere else.

Suggest £20.
