I don't have any thoughts on game and it probably is set up for a 0-0, but think 11/5 for England to win this is quite big. There isn't that much between us & dare I say it I think we do have a better squad than Italy, but struggle to perform every tournament.

On paper this looks like a draw game, but I think nearer the time as we realise just how difficult conditions are, and we must surely look to win this. Italy perenial slow starters, and two next games against countries playing in their back yard. I take this as a game we attack in.FWIW

I agree with this.

Also for me Lallana has to start this game.

10 new names confirmed for the One Drop, one of those Anon.

http://www.wsop.com/news/2014/May/4752/NEW-NAMES-JOIN-THE-BIG-ONE-FOR-ONE-DROP-FIELD.html

Vanessa Selbst – 66/1
Jean-Robert Bellande - N/A
Anthony Gregg – 25/1
Fabian Quoss – 33/1
Max Altergott – 50/1
Tobias Reinkemeier – 33/1
Igor Kurganov – N/A
Christoph Vogelsang – N/A
Niklas Heinecker – N/A

Annoyingly I asked for prices on Kurgnaov and Heinecker more than 3 weeks ago and never got an answer.

£5 on Vanessa please - price has not adjusted to the fact she is now confirmed. Altergott was 100/1 3 days ago so missed the boat on him.

Nice one hector...I had a long run of only reading your tips ten minutes after the event started. Nice to break a sequence.

I like Alex Ox to start first game at 5/1 lads, Roy loves him and he's no longer considered an out and out winger, can play central as part of 3 or right as part of 5.

Love this

Can't help thinking for Woy not to take Cole, that Shaw is a small touch of value to start at 6's.

Baines still doesn't completely convince me at the highest level and it was only 4 years back that Stephen Warnock got in the squad ahead of him.

Just expected the price to be about 4's max tbh.

Yeh most overrated player in premiership imo

i would have thought for italy..draw is enough, defend first either or both or wilshere and milner at 6/4 underdogs to the 10/11 henderson/sterling etc must be worth a shout

First match, in the jungle, with both teams being happy with a draw - it's going to be a desperate game.

made for boring james milner at right wing to help johnson and wilshere at defensive midfield next to gerrard

both teams will take 0-0/1-1 happily

surely all the young creative lads will be on the bench?

i can't see why the more defensively orientated midfielders are in at 6/4 and sterling/lallana are in at 10/11

Agree totally , Johnson needs some cover , he's not that great a defender and you know what your getting with
Milner. Max I could get is 33.33 at 6-4 but suggest trying for £50 if you can get it.

Loic Remy 50/1 top goalscorer next year ew 1/4 odds top 4. Been heavily linked with Arsenal for months and now Spurs. Thoughts?

Won't go to spurs. Was one of Arry's wants. Couldn't make it happen and would suspect that's a wage issue. I'd be surprised if we signed a striker in the summer, unless we sell.

well that's my view, but i think we're in a minority judging from the feedback

i would be staggered if england set up to attack in 100 degree heat in the jungle. others disagree

surely they'll take a bore draw right now and if necessary uruguay too and try to beat costa rica to qualify with 5 points. second in group is no hardship...not like second in the spain/dutch/chile group that gets brazil in the last 16....

are people forgetting what world cup group stages are like? high incidence of draws, lots of "lets not lose"

ideal for milner, wilshere with the barkley's/lallana's/sterlings in for the must win game and off the bench in the early games if you need them

Hodgson said in press conference today if Baines gets injured then he's made a mistake not taking Cole, so 6/1 seems purely odds of Baines getting injured.

Come on then , who wants to lay me Milner , £200 at 6-4 ? Roll up roll up.......
