Not sure about  Costa for 32 million

Will probably be keen to go low on his goals next season after two long seasons a probable long world cup and a sudden explosion after an average at best record for one manager in the last two seasons

That's ridiculous, horsey. Negredo and Soldado had similar seasons in Spain before they came to the Prem and both have been fine.

Negredo still done ok/well overall Both a bit different as they have always scored as well.

I like Costa and even if he doesnt score a lot he will still add a lot to Chelsea

Lol

I believe Chelsea agreeing to pay £32m for Costa proves the market is inflated. Normally you can get a latte for £2.65.

10 new names confirmed for the One Drop, one of those Anon.

http://www.wsop.com/news/2014/May/4752/NEW-NAMES-JOIN-THE-BIG-ONE-FOR-ONE-DROP-FIELD.html

Vanessa Selbst – 66/1
Jean-Robert Bellande - N/A
Anthony Gregg – 25/1
Fabian Quoss – 33/1
Max Altergott – 50/1
Tobias Reinkemeier – 33/1
Igor Kurganov – N/A
Christoph Vogelsang – N/A
Niklas Heinecker – N/A

Annoyingly I asked for prices on Kurgnaov and Heinecker more than 3 weeks ago and never got an answer.

£5 on Vanessa please - price has not adjusted to the fact she is now confirmed. Altergott was 100/1 3 days ago so missed the boat on him.

Bump. She can't be 66/1 in a 56 runner field.

Spent twenty minutes again trying to explain to Laddies what the WSOP was and how to spell Heinecker before being put back on hold. Not worth a fiver!

Agree, a ridiculous price, thanks Mark.

We have £5 @ 66/1, Ladbrokes, Miss Selbst, One Drop.

BET PLACED

Rio leaving United.

This must be good news for the "United manager announced in May" bet

n an open letter on his website, Ferdinand said: "I have thought long and hard over the last few months about my future, and after 12 fantastic years playing for what I regard as the best club in the world, I have decided the time is right for me to move on.
"Circumstances didn't allow for me to say goodbye the way I would have liked but I'd like to take this opportunity to thank my team-mates, staff, the club and the fans for an unbelievable 12 years that I'll never forget. Winning trophies I dreamed about as a kid came true at this great club.

Why do players say this?  No Rio the club decided it was time for you to move on and didn't offer you another contract not you.

'Circumstances didnt allow for me to say goodbye' = i was praying the club would offer me another year extension after the last game but they didn't.

A heady cocktail ensues when delusion and an inflated ego come together.

England - ENG Who Will Start In Goal For Englands First World Cup Match - Outright
Joe Hart1/8
Fraser Forster10/1
Ben Foster16/1
John Ruddy20/1
Any Other Goalkeeper33/1

Currently available at VC.  Redarmi said to me this afternoon 'Surely hart is value with coral at 1/20 to start the first game?' Would suggest we probably have £160 on this at 1/8.  Does he really only start the first match 89% of the time?  Does he get injured 11% of the time in the next 3 weeks.

More to the point, how stingy is 33/1?!

Any other goalkeeper at 33/1 is the worst price I have ever seen on anything - are VC expecting Gordon Banks to materialise out of a wormhole from 1970 with his gloves on looking for a game?

An opinion poll in tomorrows guardian shows the conservative party 1 percent ahead if skip and 3 ahead of Labour for the European elections. 25/1 with padraig would appear good value on the conservatives to win most says. Just been chopped by hills. 20/1 available at the ok corall

They really have Forster over Foster?!
1/8 is great for those with deep pockets, not sure it's worth my usual score

Think one of the compilers at BMU saw that Mars advert and mistakenly thought it was a real video.

That then reminded me of the best decision Keegan made as a manager:

Next door do 25/1 most seats.  They will lay you £2, which unsurprisingly is more than Paddy will lay.  Coral laying still at 20/1.  Just took £25.

Lots of polls suggesting they don't win, but worth a banzai with Corals I think

Guess they were all before Dave did this earlier. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-27380531

Ha ha yes. Paddy cut to 16/1. Probably won't win but crazy value. Icm are generally considered the gold standard pollsters too.

I'm not sure how it works in the UK but this market is for 'most votes'. Might the Cons have an advantage in that they will run a candidate in every constituency, whereas UKIP might not? So the Cons could get less seats but more votes?

Agree. Nearest thing there is to buying money. If this market was available with 'the exchanges', any 1.12 would be smashed to smithereens, and you obv don't have to pay comm with BMU. Suggest trying to get £800 to win £100, then crossing fingers that Hart doesn't choke on a pretzel flying over.
