Very interesting spot this Heat series.  As a team they are starting to look really old more and more consistently but because they have Lebron James sometimes they can just turn it on.  Indiana can't play any better than in game 1 and they still only won by 10.  Everything went right for them in game 1.  Me and Jeff discussed the Heat being a lay at 11/10 for the title before game 1.  I still think that is true.  I have laid the Heat at 8/15 for the East this morning.  I have no real view's on tonight's game but i wouldn't be backing the Heat given points on the road.  The Heat are definitely the better team but i don't think they are that much better to justify being a 3 point fav on the road in this spot.  I have had my biggest bet of the year on Spurs Heat final at 5/1 so i should declare i have a vested interest and i am not feeling as comfortable as i would like however.....

......the Spurs last night were awesome.  OKC have serious issues defending the paint as they have lost their best interior defender for the season.  Spurs shredded them in the paint last night scoring 66 points from close range and it's very hard to see anything changing moving forward's because OKC just don't have the personal to stop the Spurs close to the basket.   Durant and Westbrook are going to have to score 75/80 points a game for OKC to stand any chance in this series as the spurs just create so many easy chances to score.  This can obviously happen as durant is the best scorer in the game but it's very hard to see it happening 4 times in 6 games.

I know nothing about NBA

what i do now is before the first leg (match?) everybody on twitter was backing Miami and saying they would win.

are they always overbet?

have been reading up, trying to get my knowledge on it up

often, is the answer. 80% of money in vegas was on the heat game one, where they lost. some of this will be the LeBron factor

the money line has adjusted downwards for game 2 but they are still giving points on the spread to the Pacers on the road

This 60/1 any other player in the nba finals mvp market really needs to be backed (£10 at 60/1 to add to the portfolio for this market) if we haven't already done it.  It's a much better bet at 60/1 now than the 100/1 before as the Spurs are now favs for the title they are the only team realistically who have 1 or 2 players who could have an mvp outside of their of the quoted players for each team.  Parker and Duncan are obviously by far and away the most likely winners if the Spurs win the title but the Spurs' offence is so balanced literally 6 or 7 players can easily top score for the Spurs on any given night as last night's box score shows...

Good news for Heat backers is that Evan Turner is expected to return tonight for the Pacers, who has just been terrible since he joined the Pacers, but still gets decent minutes. Personally I think the heat spread is fairly decent tonight, Bosh had a bad game 1, and like arbboy said the pacers just played out of their minds after being pretty bad this whole playoffs so far. I wouldn't expect Pacers to score 100 pts again for the rest of the series. Wade has played well throughout, Heat just need some more contributions from their role players.
I'm new here but    -2.5    1.980  on pinnacle is a bet imo if you guys are on there.

Sorry Lisa whats PP Messenger?

Looks some decent betting opportunities there with some favs

It's Paddy Power messenger. It's an app. I think Tikay managed to download it so it can't be that difficult. They send lots of boosts and offers once you install it.

That's bang out of order.

West has prob been pacers 2nd best player this postseason too, so if they get there, he could be an MVP candidate, along with the spurs players. Might be tough to get £10 on with paddy power though Sad

Would agree re West just can't see how the Pacers can win the nba though but it's always nice to have extra outs on side.

in their absence, which of the handicap spreads appeals to get you started on here?

Just noticed on the Paddy market they state 'others available on reqeust' which is a bit worrying when 'any other player' is a betting option.  Another nightmare balls up for the 'loltraders' in Dublin.

Coral looks best, perhaps start off small with £21 on -2.5?
I'd guess pinnacle is best for american sports, but can be a hassle to get sorted and for depositting/withdrawing.
