Coincidentally, Yakin (our long priced Spurs punt) has been backed from 12/1 into 11/2 for the Southampton job today

Season tickets sent back if Poyet was allowed anywhere near the job. Preference is Moyes looking at that list.
if i lived close enough to have a season ticket i would be sending it back if lennon gets anywhere near it
I know I really should ignore this but why?
never liked him as a manager always the victim
as a player he was fine and i admired the way he handled the haters
and i am not a huge fan of his brand of football
southampton have been much more attractive to watch than main better teams this year
we aint ever going to win the league but aslong as its good to watch i am happy
Always the victim? He was subjected to sustained sectarian and rascist abuse for his entire Celtic career. Death threats, parcel bombs, bullets in the post, attacked on the street, attacked at Tynecastle by a fan, he needed security at his home for his family and for himself at his work, Kill Neil Lennon Facebook pages, I could go on.
The treatment Neil Lennon received in Scotland was shameful and something no one should be subjected to but yeah he brought it on himself and always played the victim.
Yakin would be a good fit for Southampton and not a huge leap after the Pochetino appointment

What is the point of a 5 year contract he must be about 10-1 to see it out. Just pr to show spurs are looking long term?

I am going to test the waters and put up a first time recommendation. This is based on a feel as all the info is out there and one which appeases the Hearn 'mint'.
The more and more I read and get involved in the froch v groves build up, we know the likelihood is Groves will look to outbox Froch just like he did to James De Gale. He has to be clever, not get involved with Froch toe to toe, is this enough to take the title off Froch? Forgetting the stoppage of the first fight, the scoring was rather alarmingly switching to Froch. How many times have you watched a fight and thought this could go to a draw to roll the show out all over again?
This fight is close to call, if we get four or five rounds for each fighter and a few in between then the men in suits will be looking to those judges to do the right thing, well for them and leave it in the balance. The draw odds at BMU 28/1 (or 33s on the exchanges) are rather attractive. I would like to see the thread have a tickle with £10, the odds will collapse as the fight progresses so we can always gte profit.
I know we are on Groves for points but this gives us extra IMO!

i was actually talking about the on field stuff when i said always the victim the stuff hurled at him off the pitch and outside the game was vial
he handled the whole NI situation perfectly and i admire how he stood up to the bigots as a player
and managed to for NI for so long not the easiest thing to do as a catholic
his attitude as a manager when it was always someone elses fault is what i didnt like and his style of football
like i said i could put up with a less entertaining style of football if there was a chance of winning something
but as we are likely never going to win we might as well go out trying to entertain

Have no problem with this bet but can we get the best price. Should easily be able to get 37/1 on bf if we leave an order in to be matched at 38.0.

Do you work for Ladbrokes? 10/1?

Oi oi, how easy it is to slip the banzai's by you boys!!
Lets hope we get it matched as it would be rather annoying if we get a decision a la Benn v Eubank second time.
When Froch fought Kessler the draw went to
in running as the fight hit the latter rounds.
Just a feeling on this one! Good luck Fred.

I was at the Benn/Eubank draw. Old Trafford. Corporate freebie. Didn't really fit in, to be frank, but it was one off the sporting bucket list

Sportingbet UK @Sportingbet_com 2m
#FrochGroves2 - Big money has come in for Groves to win on points. And it's Groves who's been attracting the early £. Froch a winner for us.
Choral have pushed Groves points out to 4/1 and I think we should back it. Reasons given in post yesterday. £30 please.
That's a cracking bet. Been undecided after watching all Groves fights again whether to try and wait to see if there is going to be any 6-4 knocking around but 4-1 for points will do. This fight is going to be far cagier than the first one and surely Groves
has learnt and will adapt more than Froch can . He must think if he stays on his feet , paces himself better , he will win it.
In my eyes , I would have Groves the favourite.

The Scottish Championship should be tough next season.
three of the (better include the word arguably) biggest Scottish clubs are in the second tier. probably a lot more competitive than the SPL?
Rangers are 1/5f from Hearts (7/2) & Hibs (11/2).
Hearts are skint? Are Rangers too short and is there any value in Hibs?
They are all too short in that list with about 122% just in the first three in the betting if those prices are correct.
It's RNgers who are skewing the market here, they are an absolute basket case with every possibility that they will go into administration, possibly before the season even starts and that means a 25 point penalty. Fans are refusing to buy season tickets to try to starve the current board out and they had too take an emergency loan from a fan to get through last season. Even if they don't go into admin the current team isn't good enough to win the Championship with little prospect of being able to strengthen, they also have a inept manager who they can't afford to get rid of.
Now out of administration Hearts will have the strongest squad in next season’s Championship. They will also be solvent, able to build on their squad and are likely to sell more season tickets than anyone else in the league. I like them at 7/2 but will be waiting until more firms price it up.

It must have been a good atmosphere though! Did you feel it was a 'false result'?
As for non league footy, it is now park cricket on a weekend! Managed to catch Lesroy Weekes still opening the bowling last weekend. He was still hoying them down at 80mph off a 4 step run up! I am only fair weather though so I may not catch many overs on my rounds!

I think Hearts are the value, they are no onger skint - new millionairess owner. Craig Leven in charge of football matters (lol) but he knows lower leagues in Scotland. they have the best of the young talent imo and from what I have heard Robbie Neilsen is considered a fairly decent coach. Rangers are probably the skintest club of all 3.
