BF Sportsbook currently offering an arb with the exchange on Belgium. Back them each way at 22/1 (same as the exchange) and get them at 11/1 to reach the final (9/1 on the exchange). Given I was looking to back them anyway, it is probably worth a few of Tikay's pounds?
Maybe 20 e/w is good? assuming you didn't tip up Algeria because you knew Belgium were carrying horrid injuries.
This got missed the other night. They are now 21/1 on the exchange and 22/1 on the Sportsbook.
In addition
GRAB £/€15 WORTH OF FREE BETS ON BRAZIL
Place a minimum £/€20 Sportsbook single bet on the World Cup Outright market.
You will receive a free £/€5 bet on each of Brazil's Group Stage matches.
Free Bet tokens valid for First Goalscorer and Anytime Correct Score markets only.
So put
£20 each way
on Belgium with the Sportsbook, beat their own exchange and get free bets.
We also need to keep an eye on the weather and Turftrax tomorrow. Australia seems to be heading towards a backable price in the Derby at 2.62. It should be raining about now, and there is possible heavy rain in the next few hours. Seems likely to be some opportunities tomorrow.
For those that can do Skuy. They are non runner no bet and best odds guaranteed on The Derby. Kingston Hill is 8/1 there and 8.8/9 on the exchange, so you get guaranteed exchange price now plus the option of a bigger price if it drifts. On an uncertain weather forecast and 3 days out that best odds guarantee is worth quite a bit more than usual.
2014 FIFA World Cup
22/1
£700.00
Belgium
Winner 2014
EW
Bet Ref: O/0140260/0000033
can you remind me on the free bet for the Brazil games starting with Croatia next Thursday please?
would hate to miss them

Might put them in the calendar. Would be odds on to miss at least one otherwise.

Aidan O'Brien still has 3 in the Investec Oaks: Marvellous (Joseph O'Brien) Dazzling (Seamie Heffernan) Palace (Ryan Moore)
http://www.oddschecker.com/horse-racing-betting/ante-post-racing/flat/the-oaks/winner
for our anti-Listen bet, we must have a decent stab at getting that favourite beat?
looks a v competitive race

Morning chaps
I see Sporting Life are flagging up Japan to come bottom of their group at 3/1 as a decent wager on the basis that the Greeks are always under-rated and Colombia and Ivory Coast look in decent nick this year.
I don't have much a feel for how much Japan have come on though, and I've seen them talked up in other forums. Anybody have an view on the Japanese this year?

if he is priced up above 56-1 can you let me know please?
Yes, am keeping an eye on the market.
There are 4 or 5 that look to have a decent chance of playing at 60-80/1. Waiting on the next announcement of names before doing anything.
Coral have taken down their market on lambert goals. I didn't need a reason to route for him to do well but I did like that bet.
Martin Jacobson has said he's playing and is 100/1.
Where has he said he is playing?
Nothing official or on twitter.

Personally, i think Japan could get out of a pretty even group. Their confed cup results were poor, looked quite naive at the back but results have improved this year (win in belgium, draw against the dutch etc etc)
i don't think i'd like to be anti-them as short as 3-1 to finish bottom
http://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/jun/01/world-cup-2014-japan-tactical-analysis
is a good read
I am also on the Greeks at 16-1 to be the competition's bottom scorers (0-0 in two friendlies this week has got me engaged in that bet)

Nothing would surprise in that group
Cant have Ivory Coast as explained previously, Colombia the solid enough ones but have two starting centre backs of 35 and 38.
Seen Japan a few times same old same old really, solid tactically good, quick passing but as ever lack a goalscorer.

A good friend of mine has just sent me this
Is an excellent full time punter but obviously this is tongue in cheek if bad language offends dont read!
As the big day is almost upon us, I thought it would be appropriate to have a look at the runners & give an appraisal of their chances for those of us unable to i) read ii) listen to the radio iii) watch television iv) think for themselves......
Arod
Bought cheaply (if you are stinking rich) by over-rated posh-boy, bloodstock agent/racing manager/workshy ***** David Redvers without checking that the black type of his relatives was in proper Group races or was earnt by scagging a few 'Wop-No-marks' round San Siro or Cappanelle......Justified the hype & price tag by winning a 2k maiden at Windsor on his 2014 debut before going on to finish 2nd in the best trial at York in May.
Wont get the trip but will ensure Redvers keeps his job as highly paid consultant to the rich imbecile beind Qatar Racing by gaining him entry to the paddock on Saturday.
Australia
Looks like being the choice of squeaky voiced Irish Soprano Joseph O'Brien who will be bidding to be the first amateur jockey to win the race twice on Saturday. Would have won the Guineas if (listen) he'd had something to race against, and if he'd had wings & if he'd not had cholera 35 minutes before the race. Sure to get the trip, he could be a really good horse, in fact, he could be the best they've ever had at Coolmore until they have another one win a maiden with a decent pedigree....
Ebanoran
AgaKhan form here, the man most likely to win the Derby not called Tabor or Smith or Magnier, this one is open to bags of improvement once he gets a decent surface to run on. Trained by the man who only runs horses in the Derby that win the Derby, this one looks massively over priced at 16/1
Bound to improve for the trip as all the Aga Khan horses are bred to want 17miles plus.
Fascinating Rock
Got the verdict on a technicality last time (Ebanoran technically mullered him) but will find it hard to confirm the form on better ground over a longer trip.
Also wont get much of a ride from Pat 'Pat' Smullen who is in the Ted Durcan class when it comes to Group races over here.
Geoffrey Chaucer
Like Australia., this one is named after a right bastard & being by Mont Jew, there's every chance he could also be a right bastard?
Should get the trip & connections/punters will be hoping Ryan Muuurrr gets the nod for this one to cajole him home, rather than having Joseph O'Brien squeaking & squwawking at him coming down the hill. More of a Leger type but could be fourth?
Impulsive Moment
There purely to ensure Claire Balding can rudely interrupt connections as they give last minute instructions to their jockey
Kingfisher
Lovely horse that has been (& will be) wasted as a pacemaker for more hyped up horses from the yard, would have had a bright each way chance were he with any other outfit in Europe, but this lot will probably have him setting quarter horse fractions & he'll be dead by the time they come down the hill.
Kingston Hill
Has been saddled with a 7lb penalty ever since the GINGER BASTARD backed him when he broke his duck last year, didnt help his cause when bailing out the GINGER BASTARD again when he won the Racing Post Trophy. Variable did his best to get the Orang Utang off his back when running him in the Guineas (in which he had no chance) but it has failed to put the Ginger One off the scent & he will be carrying some serious OOOF OOOF on Saturday & rightly so, cos he's got a bright chance. Could make Andrea Atzeni the first girl to ride the winner?
Orchestra
Looked ready to toss it a furlong out at Chester & Ryan more likely to be on something else on Saturday, so hard to see this one getting home with someone like Shamy Heffernan booting the shite out of him?
Our Channel
Won the trial here, which will be useful, because at least he wont get lost when he becomes detached from the main group of runners & will be able to find his way back home......
Red Galileo
If you look just to the right of his name you will notice the name Ed Dunlop, after seeing that, you can safely put a line through this one & give it no further consideration
Romsdal
Horrible name, wont win, they never do.
(if it does, there's hope for the Screaming Kilt next year)
Snow Sky
See 'Arod comments' & replace Redvers with Grimthorpe
Sudden Wonder
Chestnut colt out of a Kings Best mare........More likely to try & eat the Queen than figure at the business end here
True Story
Looked one of the ones on debut this year, but then the shit hit the fan with Sil & the wretched Fellon got his foot in the door at Godawful & impressed upon them the benefits of getting one dicked at York prior to Epsom (the benefits include hitting the pink button)
Supposed to need better ground, but more likely wont act on the track anyways. Sil will be hoping to get drawn close enough to take this one out going up the hill anyways
Western Hymn
High class spook monkey that could be suited to the way this is likely to be run, wont mind any rain & is owned by the newly ensconced Mayoress of Newmarket, the grossly over rated Rachel Hood, who doesnt seem to like using her real surname.......Press will be happy if this one wins, cos she can make a few intelligent sounding noises & pass on the views of her spouse which endorses the myth that racing actually wants woment to have a voice in the sport. Hope it gets beat cos I cant think there werent better candidates to be the new Mayor?
Conclusion
It's Australia's race to lose really, but I have to have a few quid each way on Edaboran because I dont like Coolmore much & I would like to see Super Dec win a Derby.........Kingston Hill would be a danger to all without the 7lb penalty.
