- In Test cricket India are ahead going into the last day. We are on at 4.4, India currently 1.43. England will now have to score their 2nd highest 4th innings total to win a Test match.

England currently 124-4.

Current Betty prices.....

England 3.0

India 1.62

Draw 19.0 (NINETEEN)

The weather forecast is not conclusive.....

Although showers will develop as temperatures rise, with the highest temperatures in London and along the south coast, these showers will be less widespread and intense than recent days. Many areas, especially the west, will remain dry. Feeling humid still.

We have a good bit of money riding on India, at a great price.

Should we consider a small bet on the draw, just a fiver or something, or some other sort of "freeroll style saver"?

Don't all shout at me, I'm just thinking out loud.....

I either completely misread that, or the odds for the Draw have halved in 15 minutes - Betty now go 10 for the Draw.

Bookies are starting to offer outright prices on Non League football.

Does anybody know how many firms are likely to bother pricing these up? I can see prices from BV and Betway which went up over the weekend. Will the main bookies price these divisions up as well?

Seem to remember Fred being involved in these markets in the past so wondered if anyone could remember.. I think I have a good bet to put up but don’t want to jump the gun before more pricing potentially goes up.

Much tighter than I anticipated.

India are now only marginal favourites & the draw is in to 8/1.

These two - Root & Ali - look quite comfy, but once one wicket falls, it could be domino time.

Rain looks imminent, too. In West London, some 8 miles from Lords, big dark, low clouds are gathering overhead, heavily pregnant, some might say, with rain.....

New ball in 10 overs time, should wake up the pitch

england have just gone favourites, which is premature

Not now a wicket has fallen, I would hope. Wink

What a terrible "shot" by Ali.

Talk about getting in a mess.

a short ball can't get you out if you wear it, hands down, or duck it

if you take your eyes off it though...

Van Barneveld and Wade, in the other half to Taylor, and the other quarter in their half to MVG

India - 4/6 England - 15/8 Draw - 14/1 at lunch

tikay you have £74.33 on the India win at 4.4, £30 is on the thread

you could green the thread exposure with £20 on England and a fiver on the draw (weather)

personally i would run it, If India use the new ball well they should win

hopefully, for the P and L, we are not in the realms of moral victories as India have outbowled England, and had by far the worst of the conditions
