Been talking to a good friend of mine who played pro football and recently played at conference level.
He knows that league well and likes Alfreton at home tomorrow night against Altrincham.
I know Alfreton is not the easiest place to go, especially in a mid week game and he says from experience Alfreton are always up for it against other part time teams.
The Altrincham lads are likely to have been working, then got a nasty trip across the Woodhead then down the M1, hardly ideal preparation especially when they are not getting results.
Alfreton have started very poorly but have signed 2 new centre forwards including Karl Hawley who will be a real threat at this level. They had 48% possession away at Barnet on Saturday, ended losing the game 2-1 but lead for a lot of the game and had a player sent off.
I've backed Alfreton at 7/4 and recommend £20 at that price.
We have Alan Alger doing non league football for us on Bettingemporium and he put this up early at 9/5. It's his biggest bet of the season so far for us. Maybe make it £40 for Fred although best price now 33/20. You can read Alan's write up for free here

i split the difference on this
trying on the exchange to get £30 above 7/4
Altrincham are favourites, as of now.

You can have £30 of my 2.84 if you want. Add it to the balance from the Hughes bet.

Has anyone got anything on england at boyles they are 23/10 now?
I don't think I can name a single person who can get a bet on with this outfit. They are the worst of all bar none.

Am looking at the more interesting of tonight's NFL games and trying to find a way to bet it.
Two teams with new backroom staff and a desire to break 500 this season: New York Giants @ Detroit Lions.
The Giants have a new offensive coordinator, who has joined from the packers. He will be encouraging Eli Manning to stand up more in the pocket. The Giants will take time to adapt to the new West Coast system and preseason has been a bit uncertain (for what that's worth). Their O-line - particularly on the inside - hasn't had much time together and is not terribly daunting.
Daunting is what I'd call Ndamaukong Suh, who is the wild beast of the Lions Defence. They will be blitzing more and that could leave Suh in single coverage. The temptation for New York has to be to cover the inside, to protect the passer. The exposed areas leaves space for Suh and his partner in crime, Fairley (both in contract years, I believe), as well as the two new recruits in the outside positions.
I'd like to find some way of betting this well-intentioned opinion. Open to suggestions. Is all of this in all the prices?

Sorry for making a loss on the F1 bets this weekend :/
If we had stuck to Kvyat instead of switching to Vergne (even after the grid penalty) we probably would have made a profit :-(
no, we made a loss even without Vergne, and we bet Kvyat
Even if we got the £15 on Kvyat?

Remember I'm a long way from an elder on this stuff (yes, yes, or anything else..!); just an enthusiast.
Suppose the obvious is sacks, but I think you can only get combined sacks for the two teams unless you start playing the spreads and that total sacks market is with Bet every day, which is essentially a no go for Fred. Over 4.5 is even money, which is what I've done.
Was hoping for some wise counsel for inspiration tbh.
Or failing that Phil Jones to score...

Is this up to date regarding the number of winners for Hughes and Moore? If not, can someone suggest an alternative site for keeping up to date with the score?

Seems 11/8 Raonic most aces may be closer to a bet than I thought since he likely wins this if he completes 4 matches?

Was a tip by simonnatur ever in doubt? ty
Went all the way to the final match.

These videos may be of interest to some of you. The Philly Godfather is a typical yank BS tipster but he was connected to this guy Jim Battista who is now famous for doing time for his involvement in the Tim Donaghy case. Donaghy was an NBA ref that was found to be betting on the games he was reffing and Battista was moving the money for him. I first came across Battista when he was betting at a firm I was trading director for and his business on the NFL was the sharpest I ever came across so I can attest to the fact he is the real deal. The punters he refers to that he moved for are The Computer which is Billy Walters (he has him absolutely spot on in my experience in how he describes him), the Englishman is Tony Bloom who a few of you know, The Greek is Spiro the guy I worked for for a few years in Jamaica although Spiro isnt the actual handicapper/originator and the Chinaman is a guy called Tran I assume based in LA. If anyone is interested in reading more about it all Battista wrote a good book called Gaming the Game about it all
