Five targets, three catches for 22 yards. Looks like the second tight end (Jeff Cumberland) had more put his way

Sad

LoL worlds championships are going to be on ESPN live!

Think this is a great idea, after watching it online as long as you can work out what's going on (mainly because they use a different language when talking) it quite good viewing, would recommend watching some of it if you eg the chance.

As a sort of promo for last night's Show on Ch 861, Scuy have put up 4 "specials" for today & tomorrow, & I'm sure you'll all say they are shite prices, but you can back them elsewhere, & Mr Channing's "special" is amongst them.

Very unusually, from my scant knowledge of these things, Neil's "special" is a place treble, for which Scuy will offer you 33/1 for, presumably, a reasonable number of pennies.

Tony Kendall- 1.50 Newm(Fri)-Pulcinella + 2.20 Asc(Sat) Viztoria Both To Win50/1

Sean Boyce- 3.25Newm(Fri) Marsh Hawk + 4.05 Asc(Sat) Free Eagle Both To Win22/1

Dave Ord- 4.35Newm(Fri) Al Thakira + 4.05Asc(Sat) Noble Mission Both To Win40/1

Neil Channing- All Asc(Sat)- 1.45 Whiplash Willie 2.20 Viztoria 4.05 Pethers Moon All To Be Placed33/1

Enjoyable viewing, and hopefully Kingsbarns bolts up!

Glad you enjoyed it, Kingsbarns in the QE2 was the tip sent in by Horsey, @ 20/1.

Fingers crossed.

I really don't understand the mentality of if TFT cannot get on don't post it. I've learnt a hell of a lot from this thread and it's nice to try and give back to each of the people who contribute and not just post tips for tikay but for everyone to back.

Not everyone reads the racing thread or greyhound thread etc so nice for other people to see.

I sometimes am too busy and only skim read TFT so would miss the bets if they are all segregated. I'm happy to be told I'm wrong here but I really cannot see the downside of posting these bets if they are +ev

Morning Callum.

It's rare that I disagree with Tighty on Fred matters, & it seems churlish so to do, as he works so hard to keep Fred ticking along, & so many of us enjoy his work, & make a few bob.

I can certainly empathise with his frustration, too.

However, I'm with you on this occasion. The tips are for EVERYONE, & even if Fred cannot get on, others may be able to. That, to me, is the most important thing.

Personally, I think you & others should keep sticking tips up, whether Fred can get on or not.

I'd not want to fall out with anyone over it, but that's my view.

The nut option is to say something like:

"PP is best price at 5/1, but Fred can get 9/2 with bet(192+22) and that's still a good price."

...or just include an oddschecker link, as most of us have restrictions with different bookies, so everyone can get on, or not, where they wish.

Daily Report

Profit on Month £227.05

Outstanding Bets £4041.26

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=30

No bets completed yesterday

With relevance to our Miami Dolphins to finish bottom of their division bet the New York Jets narrowly failed to beat the New England Patriots to go 1-6 on the season and even at this early stage this bet looks highly unlikely

The Jets played well, given their deficiencies, and covered a ten point spread easily in losing 27-25 and had a last second 58 yard field goal blocked to win

This was a rare good thursday night game, and next week sees a corker with big implications for us, Chargers v Broncos

--

In the jockey's championship, ahead of the champions days, Richard Hughes is now 5 ahead 160-155 of Ryan Moore

Ideas sought for the next two days racing please

In football our league two top scorer bet Ricky Mller has been recalled off loan at our relegation bet Dover Athletic after 5 goals in ten matches there, which is good news all round

Sources indicate that Kit Symons, Steve Clarke and Chris Hughton are on the final shortlist for Fulham, and there was another big switch round in the market yesterday

--

In the ATP Tennis cup our bet mr Batuista Agut may have had a stroke of luck

Berankis beat Raonic, and now plays our man in the quarters at 10am today

Mug thoughts for the overnight entertainment...

New York can't run the ball. This, we know, as the quarterback, Geno Smith, managed 11 of the team's 31 total yards last weekend. They only tried 15 times but even still...

If they are going airborne, it's important to look at where Smith will be aiming and I'm thinking we should see where the mismatches are. The Bills caused problems last week for the Pats in one area in particular: the athletic tight end, Scott Chandler. He's not a prolific player normally and typically does blocking work with the odd catch for a few yards here and there. He made a few highlight reel plays on Sunday, showing the lack of a good linebacker for the Pats.

The Jets have two clear options here. All the thoughts will be the wide receiver, Erik Decker, who gets all the attention, but I'm favouring the big lad instead: Jace Amaro. Twelve chucks his way on Sunday (technical term) and it looks like he's got a safe pair of mitts at the moment, snaffling ten of the eggs thrown at him. 6'5" and 235lb of beef to aim at.

You can get 5/6 on him getting over 50.5 yards with the shouty red man. Last four games were 54/58/19/68, with the 19 being the shutout against the sensational San Diego Chargers. When you can't run for five yards, a short pass will do nicely and he will logically be in Smith's eyeline.

£30 to win £25 if favoured?

They must have heard you Tal!!!!  43 carries tonight for 218 yards rushing.  Incred scenes.

you are quoting the Jets rushing yards total which was not the bet suggested.

I thought it was pretty clear Callum wasn't suggesting fred get on, like i said last night the horse won and the shape of the race meant for once it was a brilliant offer for those who could

Well I'm very pleased you asked me that Tighty, as I was up all night, poring over my form books, before settling on Pulcinella.

You see, they're on the stands'-side half of the course at Newmarket and the stalls are up the stands' side.

The ground is soft, which is unusual for the track, and there could well be a bias to exploit in the first race. It has been known for horses to tack over to the near side in races on the round course when it's soft and that's always the quicker strip.

Also, Michael Prosser usually saves a strip of ground for bigger meetings, so it won't be chewed up either.

All of that means we want something drawn in double figures in the first race, ideally a horse open to improvement.

Pulcinella didn't beat a lot last time but she was impressive and looks on a fair mark. Also she's related to a couple of soft-ground winners and Charlie Appleby does well with 2yos here (7 winners from 14 runners last year (admittedly not as good this season).

That's how I see it, anyway.

I'll give my thoughts - just this once mind - on Viztoria next.

Well I must correct you there - I selected Viztoria, after much midnight oil was burned, then I mentioned it to Lord Grumpy, who promptly followed me in.

The thing is, they've put the stalls on the stands' side at Ascot on Saturday, which looks a strange decision, as the jockeys will know it's a big advantage to race as near to the inside (far) rail as possible on heavy ground.

There's every chance they'll all tack over in the big sprint (2.20) but a split could happen too. Either way, we want to be on something drawn low.

G Force is the obvious one from stall 1 but he has a lot of speed and this will ride more like 7f in the conditions.

A lot of the others drawn 1-8 are big prices and Viztoria is the obvious one from stall 7. She loves heavy ground and stays a bit further, plus is at her best in the autumn, as shown by last weekend's Curragh win.

Fillies in form at this time of year are usually worth following.

There you go, an insight into the mind of a pro punterer.
