Posh awful again today.

Next few league games are Orient away, then Preston and Chesterfield.

Scuy are 9-2 to finish bottom half for those that can. Also 4-1 with BMU. Half tempted to rec a bet on here but will resist, mainly because Maddison is almost back and Fergie surely can't hold on for much longer.

Yep he is 2/3rds of the way there if this gets placed and then come January puts up a rec for relegation and the it could be known as the reverse full Eso...

NBA Sunday Update

Pretty quiet Sunday for our teams.  Dallas and Portland play later.  None of other teams play.

Assists - Rondo 11, Wall 14 and Lawson 10 in the two early games.  Paul doesn't play today.  Not much changes with that.

In other news.  Fleur is number 6 in the iTunes singles chart.  Think the lay might have been premature.  Sir Bob is at 11.

Number 1 now, but they have only mentioned it a dozen or so times on Xtra Factor Cheesy

That's a bit mad.  Glad I didn't go nuts on the lay now.  Can't be too unhappy with a near 1/2 shot for the final given the price we backed her.

Definitely an inspired shout from yourself, and it's the first time in years I've actually taken more than a passing interest in the show.

Only disappointed I didn't have more money in Betfair when I saw your post Cheesy

Flipadelphia next week, because Andrea obviously can't win!

Daily Report

Profit on Month £27.50

Outstanding Bets £4083.21

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aia1Hxq-NDNWdFk3UmlTSXMzTjRBTVNfOWRndVFsZHc&usp=drive_web#gid=33

A profit of £37.50 yesterday

Harlequins beat Leinster 24-18 for a profit of £27.50. Here is the crucial try...just

The Bills covered the 10 point spread in Denver for a profit of £20, losing to the Broncos 24-17 having been 24-3 down with a quarter to go before rallying. In the process they broke Peyton Manning's streak of games with a touchdown pass, at 51

One loser, the £10 Fleur next elimination bet in X Factor

ongoing positions

lets start with X Factor. with the elimination of Lauren Platt we are all green going into next week's final

The profit due and odds of achieving it as follows:

£700+ Fleur 1.52 on Betfair

£300 Ben 3.3

£50 Andrea 18.0

I was thinking, with our dramatically good run on miscellaneous bets, that reality tv and the like must be one of the places where the best edge remains, where prices can be very wrong, views can be taken and traded. As a reminder, the big Doobs position on Fleur was backed at odds of 34.44

football

Top ten bet West Ham went 3rd with a 3-1 victory over Swansea

Top ten bet Leicester did not go third, with their tenth successive loss/draw, including losing three matches from winning positions in the last week, losing 2-1 at Villa

Mainz05 lost 2-1 at Hamburg in the Bdesliga to go 11th, 7 points off the required top 4 finish

rugby Union

Toulouse (20/1 ante-post) beat Glasgow 19-11 to go top of their European Champions rugby cup pool group, one of two remaining unbeaten teams in the competition

Our 100-1 top try scorer bet Maxime Medard scored the opening try

A key fixture next week with Toulouse travelling to Glasgow in what will be a difficult encounter

NBA

late results

Dallas Mavs beat the Milwaulkee Bucks 125-102

Portland Trailblazers beat the New York Knicks 103-99

For our assists man Rajan Rondo his final line was 13 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists & 3 steals in his 31st career triple-double & a win.

NFL

A big big win for our Steelers bet, 42-21 against divisional rivals the Bengals. Although to win the AFC any team is going to have to win at either/both the Patriots/Broncos the Steelers are the type of team that can go toe to toe with the big boys. Big play potential, experienced tough quarterback and a terrific running game, as was seen yesterday

The Steelers are currently the 5th seed in the AFC, half a game behind the Bengals in the division and have to play them again in the final three games

The Arizona Cardinals escaped, somehow, with a vital win at home to the Chiefs 17-4 to stay a game ahead of the Seahawks. In a monster game, given the Cardinals are struggling with their quarterback and the Seattle defense is back to last year's form, they meet in a fortnight in a game that will decide the division

The Seahawks yesterday beat the Eagles 24-14. The Eagles, our bet, still lead the NFC East at 9-4 but face another big one this weekend, at home to the Cowboys. Winner goes big favourite to win the division, the loser is in big truoble reaching the play offs as one of these two, arizona, seattle, detroit has to miss out, with one of the and the three stooges scrambling for the NFC South guaranteed to get in

The Chargers lost 23-14 to the Patriots overnight. They face a big one this weekend, playing Denver, and need a win to remain in with a chance of winning the AFC West. Phillip Rvers was sacked four times by the Pats and passed for less than 180 yards in the game

Amongst player bets

The Rams secured a very rare second successive shut out beating the Redskins 24-0 and sacking their "quarterbacks" seven times. Our DROY bet Aaron Donald (20-1) had another sack to make it 7 on the season. He must be in with a shout of winning this, being the top rated Defensive tackle in the league according to pro football focus

Hs competition includes C J Mosley, Khalil Mack and Chris Borland. I have been canvassing some of the associated press voters, eg this writer for NFL.com

@tighty: @MarcSesslerNFL Aaron Donald close? 6 sacks, a top rated DT...

and received the following reply

Marc Sessler ‏@MarcSesslerNFL Dec 5

Very close. Total beast.

Given we have followed him since before the draft, it is nice to see him fulfilling some of the potential identified

On the offensive side one of the performances of the night was Carolina's 41-10 shellacking of the Saints. OROY pick Kelvin Benjamin scored his 9th touchdown of the season, and got to 848 passing yards so far

He has done everything we could have asked for, but is unlikely to win the award with five or six rookie wide receivers in contention. Mike Evans of the Buccs, who has 8 touchdowns in the last 11 weeks, has to be the favourite

A big Monday night football game tonight. Atlanta at Green Bay. Green Bay are 14 point (!) favourites, and need to win for us to stay ahead of the Lions in the race for the NFC North. A shoot out would do fine for us, as we have Matt Ryan quarterbacking the Falcons in action too

Tighty, talking of edges, seems like a pretty decent edge can be had on NFL. Followed your suggestions from Betpal which made watching last night a whole lot more enjoyable - thanks.

Not just in the obvious stuff, either, Simon. Fred has had NFL winners on which team kicks off, what type of microphone Madonna will wear and whether any member of the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be topless.

Aaron Rodgers needs 293 yards vs. Falcons for most ever through 100 regular-season starts

Tal is going to be very unlucky with the comeback player of the year bet, as Rodgers is set to be the league MVP. He's performed too well for our bet

Only one rookie leads the NFL in PFF grade at his position so far this year: Aaron Donald. Rams rookie leads all DTs"
