Quick quiz, name the year
Heskey met an Eidur Gudjohnsen pass with a sliding finish
Bet those two could do a job at Palace if they were still around.

39/20 for Palace relegation could come come in, in price, so there is value imo. I think it is value despite obv not wanting it to happen and it countering our pre season bets, but we are poor defensively, and will struggle to find the phantom target man in the coming transfer window. Even if we do, he will probably play in early Feb and during January we are without Jedinak and Bolasie.
ugh
current positions are
Premier League Handicap Crystal Palace +46 16 30
league without the big 7 crystal palace 20/1 15
palace v wba season points palace 10/11 55
palace v hull season points palace 13/15. 55
crystal palace season points 40+ ev. 90
those points match bets are going to be in play right down to the wire. Which is just as well
The 39-20 is at sportingbet and they won't lay very much to tikay, so i am afraid we are pretty much stuck where we are

Scuy settled Mrs Browns Boys as a winner too, back up after the north korean DDOS earlier this afternoon. Is this just a merry christmas from Scuy too?

I've had a word with Eso Kral and Chompy, and they said they would be delighted if you joined their little club.
Onwards and Upwards and Sideways and Downwards. We got all them bases covered, baby.
Good job Camel and Ambo are currently AWOL, we'd get a right shellacking.

Did we do the Silv Conti KG and GC double?
I did it for him.
I did it myself last week, and as I'm so shrewd, I could still get another ton on
So you did, I had forgotten that.
I got to keep the original £1.50 off thread, too.
So we have a Gold Cup sweat already.

The rug was pulled from under me with those bets with Pulis leaving soon after, unfortunately. I would never have posted it with him gone, but that is pointless now anyway.
Another big blow was not retaining the services of Cameron Jerome who I feel if he did stay he would probably not have scored many but his strength, pace, stamina, heading, work rate and holding up capability would have eased pressure on the defence and brought the wingers into play more. We overlooked his effect massively and are paying a huge price. Who would have thought Jerome would ever be that integral?
. Imo he is.
Atm we can't hold the ball up, up front and our defence haven't a chance. Not to mention we are struggling with finishers but unlike last year we are not creating as many chances, meaning we can't fluff one over the line as easily.
Puncheon keeps getting shown onto his ineffective right foot and struggles to finish. Our wing backs don't offer much going forward in support, our wingers this year are much more lax in defence.
The hope? That we regain a defensive solidity we had under Pulis and find a way to keep the ball in the oppos half a bit longer when we do turn over possession. We have done it well at times this season but normally against the shoddy defences of Liverpool, Everton etc. Against teams that set up solidly we are bang in trouble and haven't a plan B.
Think we need to change structurally to have a chance of completing any of those above bets successfully and it still isn't a no hoper. Get a quick target man early in January and we could be talking but that is unlikely because who is this mystery fellow? Lol
Doobs to you saying Heskey in jest, he may be pretty awful generally but he would help right about now I think, ha. We also have Doyle injured that would probably start in our current state and in his heyday would be perfect, he's good in the air and can hold it up.
Will report back after QPR, hopefully with signs of improvement. However, I have watched most of our last 10 or so games and as much as I saw how we would probably be safe under Pulis last season despite being in the mire with most writing us off, the inverse is sort of true for this season. Quite a few critics will think we will be OK, but on form we are bang in trouble.

😊😔
Do I get a pass because Pulis did the unthinkable?
Or are excuses no good here? Ha.

They might almost wish that outage had lasted longer.....
It may bring some Xmas cheer to the anti-bookie brigade, but even apart from the KG result, all the bookies have had a proper pasting on the Football today, one of the worst (?) days I can recall. Think 17 of the top 20 "most bet" results came in.
All the multiple business will be running on to Arsenal, too, the run-ups will be monsta. Maybe 'arry will save the day.
I'm sure there will be much sympathy for those poor bookie chaps.
