39/20 for Palace relegation could come come in, in price, so there is value imo. I think it is value despite obv not wanting it to happen and it countering our pre season bets, but we are poor defensively, and will struggle to find the phantom target man in the coming transfer window. Even if we do, he will probably play in early Feb and during January we are without Jedinak and Bolasie.

I've had a word with Eso Kral and Chompy, and they said they would be delighted if you joined their little club.

Onwards and Upwards and Sideways and Downwards. We got all them bases covered, baby.

Good job Camel and Ambo are currently AWOL, we'd get a right shellacking.

😊😔

Do I get a pass because Pulis did the unthinkable?

Or are excuses no good here? Ha.

The Eso line is to do what I call "The Dunkirk Defence", where we dress up a withdrawal as a victory.

SkyBet settled queen's speech as a winner, Ladbrokes as a loser

Still waiting from 365

Scuy settled Mrs Browns Boys as a winner too, back up after the north korean DDOS earlier this afternoon. Is this just a merry christmas from Scuy too?

Wink

They might almost wish that outage had lasted longer.....

It may bring some Xmas cheer to the anti-bookie brigade, but even apart from the KG result, all the bookies have had a proper pasting on the Football today, one of the worst (?) days I can recall. Think 17 of the top 20 "most bet" results came in.

All the multiple business will be running on to Arsenal, too, the run-ups will be monsta. Maybe 'arry will save the day.

I'm sure there will be much sympathy for those poor bookie chaps.

I hope they pay you for these boks.

Don't pay you enough, IMO.

Also a boxing day footy bet that I like, QPR to win away at arsenal 25/2 on 887+1, 67/5 matchbook, don't really think it's likely but think that price is good for any team to win any game in the pl (well maybe not v che away I spose!), especially vs Arsenal who on their day can capitulate against anyone. I realise QPR haven't won away all season (they may not even have picked up a point) but their home form suggests that they will pick up something away at some point.. I'm flicking £10 in anyway, gl!:)

Sigh no joy! Arsenal tried their best to throw it away too:) Hope no1 got on!:D

No excuses accepted Ant.

Seriously, don't fret mate, it's punting, things go right, things go wrong, it's the nature of the beast.

Think long term, if we place enough good bets, and do the right things, we'll be fine.

Suggest £20 on warnock with hills if we cant get on with the bigger prices

Was always on a temp appt not exactly going well, If Irvine gets sacked its the man that hired him (brown) admitting his error. Pearson has the team with him even if results are not

Personally i would make NW about now obv the QPR game on Sunday is key the fans turned a bit today and the fact the writer suggests the owners are not to happy either is probably worth something.

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/dec/26/neil-warnock-job-crystal-palace-lose-southampton?CMP=share_btn_tw

Some classic Warnock quotes in that, including "luck" being the reason Pulis did well

Some strange remarks in that article

For those who like to use the exchange as a guide there has been a few hundred pounds matched at between 9/2 and 7/1 since the game today

Really liking De Boitron in the Castleford Chase at Wetherby tomorrow. 2.40

He has had a new lease of life since Ferdy sold up and moved to France. Now longer is he strangled out the back, every race, trying to get well handicapped for the spring.

Sue and Harvey are racing him each time he turns out and this looks a fairly weak Castleford.

He has the under-rated Andrew Tinkler on him and I can see him cruising into the race three out, and trading short. Then we hope!

Save it til the morning, in case it turns heavy, as that's not his ground.

If it remains Good to Soft, have £20 ew @7-1.

I remember Fred doing well last year in the Big Bash betting on overs in the sixes.

I see that the last game played at Stadium Australia (home of the thunder) had 24 sixes hit.

Later this morning the Thumder host city rivals, the Sixers at SA.

SA does have much shorter boundaries and I am predicting another 6fest.

The bookies have set the line at 11.5 which is probably a touch high for all the other grounds and it fits in well with the total hit in the other games. Given the shorter boundaries and the total sailing over LTO I am going for OVER here.

I am having £48 OVER 11.5 sixes @ 5/6 with billy Mountain and recommend the same for Fred, unless anyone can tell me what I'm missing. A few firms have shifted the line to 12 and others are at 11.5 but are much shorter. Would probably take OVER 12 if you can get 10/11. Will also have a go on the spreads if anyone else thinks this is a good bet.

What time (UK) does that start, please? Or put another way, will it wait until the morning, or does it need sorting pre-nocturnal activities?

Ignore that.

The game starts at 08.10 UK time, so I have actioned it as suggested, thank you.

£48 @ 5/6, OVER 11.5 sixes, Wm Hill, Thunder v Sixers.

BET PLACED.

Fingers crossed, yes.

Sixers are batting first, & after 7 of their 20 Overs, they have hit 2 x Sixes.

Game on, we have (up to) 33 overs to get 10 more.

I'm not much of a judge of Silly Cricket, but I assume we want Sixers to knock up a nice big score, to give Thunder something to chase?
