Sixers are really struggling in the final few overs. Were well set for 200+. Made 180. Bet still in with a shout... Just

Did put a reply, but see you went for it. Good luck us.

Fingers crossed, yes.

Sixers are batting first, & after 7 of their 20 Overs, they have hit 2 x Sixes.

Game on, we have (up to) 33 overs to get 10 more.

I'm not much of a judge of Silly Cricket, but I assume we want Sixers to knock up a nice big score, to give Thunder something to chase?

Sidney Sixers finished on 180, & knocked 6 Sixes, so we need Thunder to get another 6.

Think we'd have preferred a bigger total to chase? I fancy we might be one or two shy here, but we'll see.

Not watched one of these before, it's all rather comical, don't think I've seen a forward defensive shot yet. I'd pay good money to hear Geoffrey commentate on this after he'd had a few glasses of red at lunchtime.

Big crowd at the venue though. Do they get free admission?

Oops, our Posts crossed.

Looks like I actually read it right - we look a few shy here, due to Sixers not pushing on at the end.

Anyway, we have a chance, & a bit of a sweat.

I think Billys have over reacted to events yesterday in Ireland.

Vatour got beat, after a horrendous mistake, and according to Hills is suddenly no longer much cop!

Ruby was born to ride him, but with him at Kempton, Paul Townend was on a hiding to nothing on the unbeaten horse.

The fact that the horse even stayed up after such a mistake was amazing and he came home a distant second to a horse he had previously murdered.

I hope he goes for The Arkle but as ever with Mullins, the plans are fluid.

Yesterday, before the race, Billys were 7/4 for Vatour to win at the festival. He is now 9/2. That's too big an  over reaction.

Recommend at least a nifty. You can even get ew terms. Cant see two horses close, let alone better, in either of his potential races.

Remember this is the horse that Mullins and Walsh feel is better than even Faugheen.

A profit of £131 yesterday

Winners

-£100 Mrs Browns Boys top of the Xmas tv ratings

-£90 Ten man bottom of the table Crewe won at Oldham away at 9/2 with two goals from Nicky Ajose

-£25 Dynaste 2nd each way in the King George. Here on the right, chasing home the winner

-£11 Faugheen winning the Xmas hurdle, and now down as low as evens for the Champion hurdle

losers

- £15, two anytime goal scorer bets at crewe and chesterfield

-£20 A ferof and cue card king george/gold cup double bets

-£50 Cue card in the King George. Going well coming to the home turn and did the same as last year, stuck its head in the air two furlongs out and said "no mas"

- £25 Saphir de rheu fell at kempton

ongoing positions

- we have £10 at 20-1 running onto Silvaniaco Conti in the gold cup, for which he is now 3-1, after his win yesterday in the King George

- Murali Vijay 55* in India's innings in the Melbourne test replying to Australia's mammoth 530 all out

football

Premier League

- Stoke won at Everton, with a penalty from Bojan a top goal-scorer bet. Top ten bet Stoke up to 11th

- Handicap bet Liverpool won at Burnley. Sterling's winner meant that, for the first time since October 19th, Liverpool's top goal-scorer this season was not "own goal"

- Southampton beating Palace 3-1 was a double whammy, as we wanted the reverse result

- West Ham down to 5th after losing at Chelsea

- Newcastle down to 10th after losing at Old Trafford

- Leicester, no league wins in 97 days after losing at home to Spurs in a game they would have won comfortably without a goalkeeper mistake and more missed chances

- relegation bet WBA lost 3-1 against Manchester City. The hosts at Ice station Hawthorns two points above the bottom three

- Rooney two goals, taking him to 8 for the season, two goals off an each way golden boot position

14 - Aguero 13 - Costa 12 - Austin 10 - Sanchez 8 - Bony, Cisse, Pelle, Rooney, Van Persie

championship

- top six bet Fulham lost 2-0 at Bournemouth and are 15th, 10 points off sixth

- promotion bet Watford lost at home to Wolves and are sixth, 6 points off second

- Middlesborough were 1-0 at home to forest when Bamford was upended for a penalty. Up stepped Grant Leadbitter to show us how tough it will be for Bamford to win the middlesborough golden boot with the current leader on pens. Leadbitter now has 11 (8 pens included), Bamford 8

- Gary Hooper scored two in Norwich's 6-1 win over Millwall. The Hooper top goalscorer bet has been nowhere, he was injured at the start of the season, couldn't get in the team once fit and only when the team's form slipped did he make his way into the starting line up

division one

- bottom half bet Peterborough lost 3-2 at Chesterfield

- promotion bet Peterborough lost 3-2 at Chesterfield and with Doncaster winning at home against fast improving Coventry, Doncaster are now only one point behind Peterborough and seven points above the relegation places, Doncaster to be relegated being another bet

- Michael Smith scored for Swindon. His 10th league goal of the season and one behind an each way spot in the league one golden boot

Really liking De Boitron in the Castleford Chase at Wetherby tomorrow. 2.40

He has had a new lease of life since Ferdy sold up and moved to France. Now longer is he strangled out the back, every race, trying to get well handicapped for the spring.

Sue and Harvey are racing him each time he turns out and this looks a fairly weak Castleford.

He has the under-rated Andrew Tinkler on him and I can see him cruising into the race three out, and trading short. Then we hope!

Save it til the morning, in case it turns heavy, as that's not his ground.

If it remains Good to Soft, have £20 ew @7-1.

Wetherby Saturday 27th December

Going: Soft, Good to Soft in places

7-1, Not available anywhere i can get on/funded

i will speak to tikay
