Some of the twitter stats tennis people have been very sweet on Coric for a while (like Hector)
That is from Challenger level and is a small sample and is from the excellent Ian DW @sportdw on twitter
Ian was at Emmanuel College with me - I was his football captain for a while! Small world and agree he seems very sharp on matters sporting/punting. Hello Ian if you're there!!
Very good
Puts up a lot of minor tour stuff think he was around 20% roi last calendar
Only issue is hard to get on/limited firms price his stuff up but very impressive

Has Tighty's account been hacked by the same people that do North Korea's propaganda?
I reckon we could have got at least two pages out of discussing that Dallas game and NFL officiating in general so it's a pity no hand wringing allowed (do I need to add a smiley face here or not) :-)
Just to put it into context Tony for people that don't follow NFL if that kind of officiating mistake had been made against Chelsea Mourinho would still have been complaining about it in 5 years time. It was the equivalent of a player blatantly handling the ball on the line and the ref giving a penalty only for the linesman to get involved and say he thought it hit him elsewhere even tho he has the worst view. The crew seemed to have decided to take another free look at it on the replays on the stadium screen and then bottled it. Des Bryant was wondering around the pitch without his helmet even tho the Dallas O were on the sidelines which is another penalty too.
It was such a bad way to change a game that Sony could even make a film about it called 'The Interference'. that's how distasteful it was( unless you are an over the moon Dallas fan)
If it had been Prem soccer it's the kind of thing Sky news show for 4 days on the trot, with rolling banners too. Actually make that 7 days.
( I might have exaggerated some of this just to balance the pro Dallas crew) :-) (just in case)
Anyway, I'm quite surprised to see Carolina are getting 11.5 start away to Seattle next week, obv Seattle's D has been incredible in the last 5-6 weeks but they have played some poor O's in that span of games. Teams that have a good D and a decent running game to keep the clock going, are getting a lot of points on the Hcap and might only need to score 13 or 14 points to cover always attract my punting money.
Any thoughts from the fellow Neffle punters?
Just sayin....
'''NFL admitted to Lions today that officials missed a hold on Ndamukong Suh on the 4th-down conversion from Tony Romo to Jason Witten with 6 minutes left in the game (after the controversial Brandon Pettigrew play and before the Dallas TD). Had holding been called, it would have put Cowboys in 4th and 16 on Detroit side of the field. Dallas would have punted and Detroit still would have the lead. One person said that this is "even worse than the PI call/no call'''

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/non-league/conference-south/winner
Ebbsfleet have signed Kedwell former fred favourite from Gillingham
Rumored to be on 2k a week not bad for the conf south....
Anyway the 11/1 wont last much longer
£2k a week part time? Are clubs at that level part time?
Most are but Ebbsfleet have plenty of arab money
Takes a good offer to drop 3 divisions!
Yes definitely. It remains me of my accountancy career before my punting days when i was training as an accountant in the late 90's i audited Rushton and Diamonds FC where they were being bankrolled by Dr Marten's owner. In their last season in the conference in 1998 everyone in the squad was on min of £800 a week basic plus bonuses. They signed two northampton players on two year deals for on over £3k a week plus bonuses. The gaffer was also on over £2000 a week. Brian Talbot (ex arsenal). Money talks. They didn't stay in the conference for long.
Also been numerous sides who have tried similar and ends in tears.
Rushden & Diamonds for instance!

quick few things overnight
- Australia scored 572 for 7 in the fourth test. All our eyes then turned to Murali Vijay, needing a big score to overtake Kohli in the top Indian run scorer in the series market. It was all that was on his mind, as he admittedly in interviews
"It was such a good spot by Hector" he told Channel 9, "and i think i have fulfilled my side of the bargain with 402 runs, three fiftiesd and a hundred but of course the little man has been in great form with 499 runs. I hope i bring it home for tikay"
Out he walked after two long days in the field in Sydney
With Mitchell Johnson injured, Starc took the new ball
third ball....Vijay edges one, is caught behind for 0 and trudges off, only Hector, tikay and the Ladbrokes odds compilers in his mind

tonight, celebrity big brother starts. Joy. Well it will be if Calum Best is part of the line up, as he is who we are looking for with £70 at 1.57 on
As is the modern fashion, he is currently fashioning himself in tribute to King Edward VII

In the NBA last night one of our teams played, the San Antonio Spurs lost 105-104 to the Detroit Pistons
The Spurs have lost 8 of their last 12, here is a discussion on it for those interested
At 6pm tonight in the second round of the old fashioned darts
Geert de Vos (Bel) v Scott Mitchell (Eng)
With only three seeds left in Mitchell's half, and we are on at 10-1, Mitchell is 8/1 fourth favourite

highlights at

anyway it looks like we are on at 13/1 and she is 3rd in the standings

Back from hols,
That was the Zagreb slalom (not GS), the annual Snow Queen event.
Form is peaking for the World's in February, unfortunately a tragic accident killed one of her best friends & teammates in an avalanche in Solden a few days ago.
Next GS is in February I think.
Packed calendar over the next few months though. Ladies speed events at Bad Kleinkirchheim this week, & Mens Downhill at Wengen & Ladies in Cortina next week.
Any decent bets I'll try & post, but often any useful info I get is late & value is mostly slim.

Some of you might know that last week i reached the milestone of middle age. The big 4 0. A belated celebration (give the punters a chance to recover after xmas and nye) is being planned for next Saturday 17th January in Birmingham. Obviously there will be a few non TFT characters present from Blonde and a few non punting mates who don't have a clue what they have let themselves in for alongside a chunk of full on punters and/or alcoholics. Should be a good mix of people for what will be a pretty fun day. Seemed a good opportunity to invite the reg's on here and meet a few more of you. Everyone is welcome and just turn up whenever you fancy it throughout the day. Thought i would post it now to give you a chance to arrange travel/hotels etc if you do fancy it.
The early plan is to start early afternoon on Broad St few beers to meet/greet etc then move onto some ten pin bowling just up the road at Broadway casino to kill an hour or so before we depart to the dogs for the evening (probably Perry Barr as it is reasonably close to Broad st/Bway). Then back to broad st after the dogs finish for the rest of the evening to finish with more drinking and, very likely, a casino trip to finish off the night.
If anyone wants to make a day of it PM me as we will be block booking the bowling/dogs for a good deal in advance and i can add you to the list. There is a £200 25/25 poker event in nearby Walsall the same weekend incase anyone fancies combining the two playing day 1 on the thurs/friday night and having a 'day off' in Bham on the Saturday before the final day on Sunday!

Early value for womens downhill at Bad Kleinkirchheim, with two days training & the race on saturday.
Favourite tweeted:
lindsey vonn @lindseyvonn 1h1 hour ago
Sick in bed for the last 16 hours and @FlySWISS still can't find my bags. Things are just not going well so far.
Obv not a total disaster, she'll likely be ok, but not ideal prep.
Elisabeth Goergel has some recent speed form with a 2nd & 1st at Val d'Isere in downhill & Super G in December. She's Austrian & knows the hill well, & won last time they raced there back in 2012. She also won in Austria at Altenmarkt this time last year.
I can only see betevdayoftheyear with a market up. 17.00 for win or 5.00 for a podium both are value.

That's a great idea, Mark, but I'm pre-booked & can't possibly get out of it, unless we fancy testing the notion that garters can be made from guts.
Happy 40th.
No messing, I thought you were a good bit north of that.
Also, chance to say "thank you" for the bulk of our NBA book. What a book we have there, though it's a shame Lebron has gone AWOL.

Diego Poyet set to join Watford for the rest of the season to join Layon who joined last week. Heard good things about him from Charlton fans. Looks like we lose Guediora and Bassong though due to management changes at their parent clubs, so still need to add a defender (which they will). Fred is already on, but for anyone else 4/1 still looks good for promotion compared to the rivals for a team who should improve now that they have some management stability and no FA Cup distractions.
