Suggest £40 Ladbrokes 10's is an amazing price. Hills only other firm up at which is closer to correct price.

Will post some reasoning later on phone price will not last long

Ladbrokes making quite a few horseracing ricks at the moment.

Not a recommend, but they were way to big earlier with Handy Andy in the 2.35 opening at . 2pts bigger than anyone else.

They are still 10-1 on Gunna be a devil in 3.40, which again is far bigger than it will be tomorrow.

Mr pommeroy reasoning

Very tough handicap first run for new trainer who started last week at meydan with 4 runners most of whom ran well.

Horse comes from France has french group form the pick of which was being beaten 5 lengths by the grey gatsby.

If that can be even close to repeated this is very winnable. Think should be a maybe shot myself

Fabian Gomez played ok on his return to the tour last year.  8th 14th and 23rd.  He's 22-1 to get a top ten in the Sony with PP, a bit out of line, worth a £5?

great price, but we can't do PP

http://www.oddschecker.com/golf/sony-open/top-10-finish

19 on betfair next best if you want?

Fred can have £5 of mine at 22-1

Thank you very much Mr 2xUp.

If you send me your bank details via PM, I'll settle you up.

My favorite tournament the African Cup of Nations starts this weekend (football hipster alert!). It is being held in Equatorial Guinea. It was a last minute decision to move it there and some of the pitches and stadiums could be interesting!

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/africa-cup-of-nations/african-nations-cup/winner

The draw is heavily lopsided with Groups C and D being by far the toughest and teams from these two groups playing each other in the quarter finals. It is also an open tournament this year, with usual favourites Ivory Coast far weaker than previous years and Nigeria, Egypt and Morocco not there.

Looking at Groups A and B, Tunisia are probably the strongest team on paper but Egypt are the only North African team to ever win outside of North Africa, so history goes against them here.

The bet I would suggest is Burkina Faso each way. They were surprise runners up two years ago and have the easiest draw possible with a very winnable group and if they manage that they will likely avoid Tunisia in the quarter finals. They are not the best side in the competition, they are solid and have some good players but don't have any players in the English league so are a little unknown. I would hope that if/when they make the semis and face probably their first strong opponents of the competition, they will be less tired having had an easier run. And as we have seen when they made the final two years ago, Zambia winning it 3 years ago and Drogba's strong Ivory Coast team never managing to win, there is potential for outsiders to make a run in this competition.

I don't think Ivory Coast deserve to be favourites or rather they are favourites by default, they are defensively suspect and will miss Drogba and I would look to lay them. Algeria have a strong side but the precedent for North African side not winning in the rest of the continent is hard to ignore. Senegal, Cameroon and Ghana all have a shot and I will enjoy watching their matches but all these five teams are in Groups C and D so I don't see how any of them can be a bet.

Suggest Burkina Faso each way 20/1 with Bet365

- corrected typos.

Thanks Berg - will do this for an interest.

Last time I watched the African nations cup it was terrible though.  Bad pitches and 5 of the first 7 games I happened watch had 1 goal or less!  Think that was 4/6 years ago

I'll give it another go on your recommendation!

I will also tentatively suggest a small each way interest in the Burkina Faso attacker Jonathan Pitroipa as top goalscorer at 40/1 also with Bet365. He takes pens and had six goals in qualifying.

I like the tournament because the unexpected can happen. The goalkeeping can also be quite special, though teams are generally better organised these days and the goalkeeping standard has improved no end. Still, watch for that bad bounce on the pitch!

Bet365 maxmimum is £1.50 each way

bwin win only 20-1 is possible

if not i would have to take 16-1

Bet365 Pitropra maxmimum is 75p each way

the best place i could most likely get on is betfred at 28-1

please advise
