Tote Jackpot

The Partex Marking Systems Prestige - Hall Green
Tuesday, 27 January. Live on Sky Sports

£250k ish in the pot

Very much like horse racing the greyhound equivalent offers punters the chance to enter the Tote Jackpot.  In order to be successful you have to pick the six winners of six chosen races.  If nobody is successful on winning the Tote Jackpot on the chosen night then the fund will rollover to the next chosen meeting.
If multiple rollovers occur then the Tote Jackpot can rise into thousands of pounds which is definitely worth giving it a go for the miniscule stake of £1 it costs for the bet.

Please note if we had done this last night we would have been out the very first race, just to manage expectation, it is very much more of a punt than anything else.

Just want to gauge interest and agree what we will do before committing to anything.

BorntoBubble, you ok to run it?

Does anyone know if we can get a discount like we did with the horse racing?

All ideas welcome on how to run it.

How much would it cost to cover the lot a la Dubai a few years ago and pray for a scoopio?

Haha dont know what im volunteering for here obviously!

In for collecting ill start the ball rolling with £20

Happy to collect and get on. Would be kean to get some of the "pro's" on board for selections as I would not want to be responsible for that. But happy to mediate and make final decisions if two or three people have differing opinions.

Also if Neil or others know of the same deal we had last time with getting some "cash back" or equivalent or if we just have to go to the tote.

Have got a separate bank that I can use to collect so we can keep track and will get a spreadsheet uploaded shortly.

If you put in and how much for I will send you my details and add you to the list.

I will say a cut off 12 oclock midday on 27th January (which i believe is the day of the jackpot. Someone please correct me if im wrong.

I'll be in for £50.

Try editing the spreadsheet but can't do it.

@ironside, I'm sure it's £1 a line min but u can specify more if u want. I'll look into it.

They were quoting 50p's on Tuesday Night Dogs. Dont know if that means you are only eligible for half the jackpot or how that works.

im sure someone on here knows for sure, ill look into it anyway. Once we know the races and are able to get the form sheets off the bags website we can look at how we are going to do it. i suppose its the same as the horse one in terms of the amount of money we collect will dictate what combo's we can have and then we can get a few of us to look at the dogs.
