There's a couple of good boxing cards tonight. On Channel 5's Monte Carlo show Martin Murray takes on Genady Golovkin. Before the fight was made I thought this was a bad match up for Murray. Golovkin dominates every minute of every round with his freakish power and the threat of that power really throws off his opponents. Murray doesn't have the movement or work-rate to keep Golovkin at bay. Only a couple of Golovkins opponents have lasted till rounds 7 or 8 and I don't think he'll quite last that long. rec £20 on GGG to win between rounds 4-6 with billy mountain. http://www.oddschecker.com/boxing/gennady-golovkin-v-martin-murray/round-group-betting

Paul Smith has a rematch with Arthur Abraham on the Sky show. Somehow Smith came in at 2 1/2 pounds under the weight limit, it's a sign that something in his preparation has gone horribly wrong. A bit like Price and Groves before him, he went into the first match free of pressure, felt an injustice at the way events unfolded and is now putting pressure on himself in the rematch. As we've seen since then, Price and Groves haven't handled things well at all and are well off of their A game. It's a bit short for Fred but I expect a dominant Abraham win and 1/4 looks even more now than it did before the weigh in. http://www.oddschecker.com/boxing/arthur-abraham-v-paul-smith/winner

On that  undercard David Price continues his comeback after the 2 Tony Thompson defeats that destroyed his confidence. Whereas he used to let his big right hand go from the 1st bell, he now paws way with his jab for the first round, measures up the straight right in the second and the fight finishes quickly when that starts landing. Against a journeyman with little head movement I like Price in rounds 3&4. Rec £10 @7-1 each round with Buttermeup (took 6-1 earlier myself) http://www.oddschecker.com/boxing/david-price-v-irineu-beato-costa-junior/round-betting

We are Stoke Stoke stoke. In a massive Stoke boozer now having a ball.just asked twenty Stoke fans if they want pulis back and only three said they would!

Looking forward to a certain Lol firms quote on Stoke for top Midlands club on Monday.  Given how opinionated they were this week. Stoke a re literally a 1.01 shot now for top Midlands but I am expecting 1/10 on Monday morning from a certain lol firm

My bwin account is com... I hardly ever use it, and I've probably only had half a dozen bets lifetime.

First one was that next pope one that Dazzler put up, which I played through with a few basketball bets, and then this dbl.

Agree On the smith weigh in. Criminal prep to weigh in 2.5 lbs under. Lee the fish can control his weight better on the diet Fred than smith obviously.when your living depends on your weight like this to weigh in this much under has to mean a terrible prep.  Lighter doesn't been better.

Victor 1/2 burnleys to go down is an over reaction to their draw at chelski under ten men. The results have gone massively against them today even though they have got an unexpected point, I backed 4/9 this morning and will be topping up at 1/2.  As Dubai told me today away points don't keep you up

Lighter is terrible when you've had to boil down to that weight and will be putting on a stone within the next 36 hours. We may see a very drained Smith in the ring tonight.

There's one more interesting spot tonight in Hughie Fury vs Andriy Rudenko. The only loss on Rudenko's record was a close decision to Lucas Browne in a fight that got broke Browne into the world top 20 rankings. He looks good enough that Eddie Hearn would wait a while before he looks at putting AJ in with him.

So far Fury has been fighting some poor journeymen, he's only 20, has had 9months out with a virus and this is a very tough first fight back. The choice of opponent and the timing of this fight makes no sense at all, as does the price. Fury 1/6 is optimistic to say the least, despite everyone expecting a Fury win this should be a really close fight. I'd hate to be laying 4-1 on Rudenko nevermind the 5-1 on offer with Hills.

Yeah that is horrible from Smith. I don't understand how they could have got it so badly wrong. But then I'm always amazed when you hear fighters who are at a decent level stating that they have been working with a nutritionist for the first time etc.
