They play an 82 game regular season between the first week of October and the second week of April so they tend to play every couple of days on average though sometimes it'll be back to back and sometimes there'll be a four day gap. That's then followed by a two month post season which is four best of seven series.

Say what you like about the money baseball players, basketball era and hockey player make, they definitely earn their keep.

That was my point really. Footballers grumble if they play 2 games a week, but I know that in Baseball, for example (admittedly less physical) they play 7 nights per week, think NBA is not far off that?

One of the best things about going to Vegas is back to back MLB on TV every day. If you go to any sportsbook there, you can watch 2 or 3 games at a time.

I'm so tempted to break the most golden rule of gambling (never bet on facts) and wager that picture isn't Caesars Palace.

Look's awfully like the Mirage to me.

I have never been to the Mirage sportsbook but i have been to Caesars and i would pretty tempted to bet the same as well.  Nearly certain it is not Caesars circa 2010-12 sportsbook.  Unless it is an early photo.  The cashiers at Caesers are/were much more to the right of the set up than central imo.

Which American football team/stadium are shown in the biggest screen?

The player seems to wearing Carolina Panthers uniform.

But I can't for the life of me work out the home team who wear blue and white (presumably) and have the letters C O L (I assume those are the letters we can see) in their name.

Bugger, I can't get a thing past you boys.

Same colour carpet (once described as "puke beige") as Caesars.

I'm guessing it's the Colts.

Might be TY Hilton, imo.

edit (the last sentence is a guess)

Colts stadium is a good call.

Still think it looks like a Panthers player though (however unlikely that is)

Letters don't match up for COLTS. Either the C or the L is upside down.

Can't find an AFL or CFL team to match it, though.

Looks like "LOS" to me. Needs to be in the middle of the name, though, as we can assume our chap is standing in the middle to receive the kick off.

research tells me the panthers won 27-19 at the colts in the year before Luck, 2011. wewk 11, newton's rookie year

the panthers were wearing white though, so its not the panthers

I think it is the Colts. Look at the L in this picture. Has a go faster stripe at the top.

What a daft font!

My fault for thinking they'd write the letters properly.

Could the returner be from the Bills?

It's worrying, the level of nerdness they possess. 2 of them had decent educations, too.
