I wonder if Murphy is now popular again with the other players. I remember he dobbed Maguire in for leaving his chalk behind in the dressing room and demanded the ref fine him a frame very early on in his career. I remember watching that game on the worldsnooker scoreboard and thinking it must have been a record speed break!
I was watching that match and my enduring memory is the daft look on Maguire's face as he reached into his pocket and realised that he'd left his chalk behind.
I certainly remember the referee penalising Maguire one game but I have no recollection of Murphy having anything to do with that.

That states that Maguire claimed he did but that Murphy denied it "at the time" which hints that he may have admitted it later but it's hardly clear-cut.

Boro are 1 point behind so if Boro and Watford win all their last games Watford are up (as to do this Boro have to beat Norwich).
But why would the Watford manager be "on the case"?
Not sure - wasn't my post. Might be cos he is a rough, tough Serbian chap.

Matthew Selt is a friend of a friend.
Really nice guy and a terrific snooker player, but suffers terribly with nerves.
I'd be very surprised if he's capable of winning a match at the Crucible (altho tbf I'm pretty surprised he qualified)

I know we don't do spreads but someone else might have an opinion on this and/or want to get involved for a snooker sweat.
I have a ton ups bet I like. Chap called Zhang Anda you can buy his tournament ton ups @ 11. Came through qualifying getting a big century in each round (all 130+) along with another dozen or so 50+ breaks. Playing Joe Perry so shouldn't be a walkover and therefore potential for a bonus match or two for a fun sweat if he can be one of the (normal in recent years) 1st round upsets. No negative make up to market so you know your max exposure but fighting chance of a tidy upside.
Wouldn't be going mad on it as could easily lose with no big break, but I like that he's got his eye in with a few competitive long format matches (including scalping Wenbo) and clearly not averse to racking up a decent break.

Morning Mr W.
I believe His Tightness is AWOL today, so I'm in charge.
That means no Novelty shite, no dubs, trebs or accas, & no flicking in.
Unforch, I can't find any reason not to do this bet.
PS - Who does this Robertson chap play for? Just so I can have a sweat, like.
We have £20 @ 5/1, Robertson, BMU, Top Scorer League One.
Top Goalscorer - 2014/15
Ian Henderson
(Outright - Outright)
Odds: 5/1
Stake: 20.00
Possible Return: 120.00
BET PLACED

Ian Henderson once sat next to me on the flight back from Vegas when he was still at Colchester. Looked like he'd had a rough week!
In answer to your question from yesterday Tikay, the next Wild game is this evening.

Thanks.
2-0 would put us in a great spot, fingers crossed.

You won't have had to scroll down half as far in the golf Tighty, as Knoxy showed some true metal with a -7 to move up to -3 and a share of 27th. 4 shots off the place money.
