I wouldn't have thought that Sky are responsible for what it says on Oddschecker.

Remember Tikay talking about Oddschecker/Sporting Life etc.

Did he say that one company owns the other, or does Sky own them?

Alternatively, I could be losing the plot, which is very possible.

Oddschecker are in the same ownership as Sky Bet, both are part of SB&G.

Ah ok, so you wouldn't expect Ladbrokes to pay in similar circumstances, but expect Sky to pay because they are owned by the same company as Oddschecker. I don't think you've got a case I'm afraid but good luck anyway. Smiley

Slow down sweetheart Wink

I was pointing out that I thought Oddschecker was owned by Sky, and in turn, surely they are responsible for their own website?

As it goes, I believe Adz's betslip said the same as the website, so I would expect them to pay, yes.

However, you're right, I don't have any case, as I didn't back the horse with them Smiley

Oddschecker are affiliates of all the bookies on their site, it isn't as simple as - oh that was oddschecker, nothing to do with us.

Just been thinking (often dangerous), and would guess their position will be that the 5 places was for bets placed on the day, like the offer on 3-6-5 etc.

You won't see many goals like that at Wembley. Gotta feel for the keeper.

That is certainly plausible

At The Crucible, Selby has just had, if I counted correctly, 7 attempts to get out of the same snooker, each deemed a "miss".

I thought 3 called misses on the trot was a frame awarded?  Live and learn.

I should have said 7 failed attempts, rather than 7 misses.

If the player can hit the object ball, it is.

Ref has to warn the player after the 2nd miss, too.

Also, I think if the player in question needs snookers, they don't call a miss.

Can't beat Red Dog, surely? He's the British robin of singing.
