who on earth is going to score the goals to get Brighton promoted?

Ulloa apart, they haven't scored enough goals under four managers for over three years....

Interesting market for top Yorkshire team, it doesn't include Hull or Rotherham?

M'boro 2/1
Weds 9/2
Leeds 8

Well my assumption is that they will completely revamp the squad this summer under Hughton.  Hughton must realise that goals and indeed creativity were woeful last year after working with the team for a few months.

The thinking behind the bet is that they are a well run, well supported club, and will act to address the shortfalls this summer and will go off a lot shorter than 33-1.  That's the theory anyway!

I have more confidence in the Sheff Wed one, but the stakes reflect that.

Looks like a mistake on oddschecker. Above book comes to 71%. Can prob add Hull at around 6-4 and Rotherham at 33s.

Awful figures for Chris Jordan in the cricket.

not easy for anyone on these pitches with these regulations but he certainly bowled too short

I am really hoping David Willey gets a go soon in the bat 8/ bowl in the powerplay role. very talented hitter, great slower ball and teak tough aggressive temperament

can only find out if he's going to make it by playing him in these sort of series

unfortunately tonight's copa america is mexico v bolivia...expecting a low scoring match and the quote on first bolivian goal is 67, which gives you plenty of downside and only 33 points upside!

if you are around over the weekend there are better games,

or specifically on sunday 9.30-10.30am another ODIyou could play 50ups....?

or sunday 5pm the slovenia v england game?

I'd actually think 33/1 might be a touch tight on Brighton. Their squad is really very weak for the championship and it looks like the investment in infrastructure has mean that player investment has had to take a backseat. Similar to Arsenal between 2004-2012. I know a lot of die-hard Brighton fans and not a single one is hoping/expecting anything better than mid table safety this year. They have no strikers, have their only creative midfielder was on loan and their defence is ageing. Certainly wouldn't recommend an outright bet. If you are keen to be on board, maybe the handicaps will be a better route?

Any views on Spirit of Wedza in the 8:35 at chepstow?

Needs firm ground. Last time out, they sent him to Brighton and it poured not long before racing started. They raced him anyway but he came last of seven.

The time before that, he'd been backed in to 15/8 Jolly and he unseated the rider, who I believe slipped off as much as anything (just going off what I'm told by an eyelash owner).

Not crossed the line first yet and Chepstow might offer what he needs in a long straight, coming down the hill.

Clerk has watered the course but the ground has still gone from good to good to firm. Can't be bad news.

16/1 with the shouty red man. Surely they'll give us a tenner each way top three? Even money favourite heads the ten-strong field. BMU also 16/1. Rest range 10-14s

What else would you be doing on a Friday night?
