Wimbledon Ladies Singles.

http://www.oddschecker.com/tennis/wimbledon/womens/winner

Sabine Lisicki 28/1 Winner and Titan.
Recommend £20. Take 25/1 if those accounts are not available.

Ms Lisicki has re-discovered her form on grass. Her serve had not been functioning but it appears to be back.

Yesterday against Belinda Bencic she served 27 aces in 77 service points. A record for the WTA.
She also had a 131mph serve that narrowly missed which would have equalled her record.

each way, or not?

On the nose.

Each-way might appeal more once the draw is out but the price will have gone by then, almost certainly.
It's possible that she might get seeded in the top 16 with a good week at Edgbaston this week which will help her chances. She is currently ranked 19.

out most of the morning but if there is anything else royal ascot or us open or anything else will catch up when i get back

i see the Norfolk, the first race this afternoon is 11/10 and 5/2 the godolphin and al shaqab big money purchases and then 20/1 bar 2 paying 3 spots in a now 10 runner race

should be right up our strasse shouldn't it?

someone spot me a rag to place please, thanks!

Jazz Legend.

American bred and faster ground should suit.

Impressive on debut.

Northern trained horses have a strangely good record in race.

Although Hannon had a winner last night, not sure his horses are in top form, and would happily fire a few bullets here.

Bumped.

Morning Tighty.

I think tonight's superleague match will be a low scoring win for St Helens so I can't find a try scorer bet.

However, there is a bet that I like in the US Open golf. Adz went for the option of going for golfers who are good playing out of the sand, but I am going for a player who doesn't go in the sand much. Hideki Matsuyama has had top 10 finishes in all the majors at some stage. I have been following him for a couple of years and it seems that he is far more comfortable on tough courses where par is a decent score. This year he has been getting into contention but not shooting the 3 big under par rounds that are needed on most courses to win. Graham McDowell saying that 10 over could win is a bit of a sound bite, but there is a possibility that this could be a horror course to play and I want to be on a grafter with a cool demeanour.

Suggest £10 e/w Matsuyama @ 35-1 with coral 1/4 top 5.

don't know if you saw it but Neil in his write up of the event (free etc) said this "travelled to Chambers Bay to practice back in February" about Matsuyama

One i been looking forward to all week at Ascot is Brian Meehans Mutarakez in the Brittania at 5pm. Plenty of 10/1 available, and maybe still some 11s. Won both races this season in good handicaps and stable have started the season brilliantly, this has been the plan for some time and Meehan has been hot on its chances all week. I had a good chunk on this morning and well worth a nibble at 10/1 win or each way IMO.

Good Luck

Good Luck

the draw is ok too

wouldn't want anything drawn near side/20 and up, right? (on yesterday's evidence)

p.s i note "Only two horses in the last 10 years have carried more than nine stone to victory and the last one was in 2007."

this has 9-3

anyway, 5 places to go at

I think anything drawn low and middle if their is a bias that is, will have a slight edge. Wouldn't want to be drawn high, but at the same time its a stiff mile here and you want a few around you with plenty of early zip. With a mile in a thirty runner hot handicap, youre always going to need a little luck in running, but this horse is a group horse running in a handicap in my opinion. Owes me nothing after its last 2 wins but definitely has more to offer.

PP are 6 places and even laid me a tenner each way on all Neil's bets.  Don't know if they have reviewed their accounts, as I haven't been able to get a bet on there to win that much for a long time.  Maybe their multipliers are all broken today?

ok we don't have money in PP, didn't seem much point to do so.

it would help a lot (often best price, better terms) if we did have some leeway there but i am not sure its worth depositing there on the off-chance

I'm a massive PP ice cream - they luckbox their way out of almost every bet I make with them.  So can put on bets there for foreseeable future (they will obv lose though, which is the only downside).   Wink
