The WGC Bridgestone tomorrow.  EW opportunities with Speith quite short and imo most of the fancied players have inconsistent records at the course.

Mark Leishman has played twice 45th in 2012 and 3rd last year and is in good form with his Open play-off last month.  Available @ 60-1 with bet everyday.

(Doobs has already got some money available for Fred)

I also like him @ 15/2 top australasian with sadblokes not sure whether EW is good I've gone for it anyway.

will wait for doobs on the outright bet, ty

http://www.oddschecker.com/golf/wgc-bridgestone-invitational/top-australasian

is a 7 runner field e/w paying 2 places

small win only bet seems appropriate? shame its not 8 runners ...

scrap that, Ladbrokes offered £2 max outright
Thread has a 5 e/w on Leishman at 60/1.  Assume booked.

Thanks David.

Remind me to settle up if it goes pear shaped please.

Leishmann nearly did me a huge favour in The Open, (thanks to Tighty) so I'm quite sweet on him.

"I GIVE to arbboy my lolbrokes account to use as he sees fit.

I GIVE to chompy my betfair account to red and green in a way only he understands, on condition that he doesn't bet on reality tripe.

I GIVE to hector my ongoing tennis and eggchasing portfolio

I GIVE to Peter-27 £50, which will cover all liability for an entire season of F1 tips. The inevitable 25% profit to be donated to Tal's Strictly Fund.

I GIVE to Doobs my unrestricted accounts, should any remain

I GIVE to TightEnd my collection of Archibald Leitch model stadia.

I DESIRE that the rest of my betting accounts be left on a shotgun principle and first to pipe up shall get it.

And I DESIRE that MereNovice be made executor and trustee because I know he would just love sorting this mess out."

You forgot the "being of sound mind" bit.

Oh wait

Dipping my toe in these waters for the first time so go easy on me..... Smiley

Looking at the top scorer market in the Premier League, Yaya Toure leaps out at me at 100/1 across a few sites (Betfair, BV, Ladbrokes). He was, unfortunately, pretty poor last season, but still (just!) managed double figures for PL goals. If he can rediscover the form and consistency he had in the 2013-14 season where he bagged 20 goals in the league, then he could be right up there again.

For....

No ACOP this year, thank fck.

He takes a mean free kick, and we should win plenty of fouls in good positions with Sterling, Silva, Nasri, Aguero etc buzzing around.

His age. Yep, I think his age is a positive. He simply can't do much of the legwork these days, and with the signing of Delph (plus Fernando shaking off the groin injury he was playing with for 5 months last season), I think Toure will loiter much higher up the pitch more often, leaving Delph/Fernando/Fernandinho to do the dirty work in front of the back 4.

He finally seems pretty settled after all the nonsense with the birthday cake and his agent, plus the death of his brother last summer. Rumours are he's gonna see out his career at City now.

Despite the competition for places, he's pretty much guaranteed to play every week regardless of the opposition. Doesn't pick up many injuries or suspensions either.

City score goals. More goals than everyone else generally.

Against....

He's not a striker.

Doesn't take penalties (though is 2nd choice and Aguero isn't always fit.....)

He can be an infuriatingly lazy twat.

Thoughts? Felt 100/1 as an E/W outsider could be a decent punt. I am a City fan though so I may be a tad biased!

You could write all of your passwords down on a piece of paper and leave them to me in your will(when you get around to writing one) and that will ensure that you don't lose any sleep about your ill-gotten gains not going to a good home as opposed to feathering those evil bookies' "unclaimed bet" pension funds.

Not a piece of paper - a spreadsheet protected by the password "Rosebud"

That's a very good price methinks, really expect/hope Sterling to hit the ground running. Can see him contributing quite a few goals this season.

Anyone found anything in the RP pull out?  Have read the whole thing now but not gone into any detail on the specials/matchbets yet.

The main pull out i am talking about is in today's racing post.  Assume the RFO will have a preview as well.  My local newsagent doesn't sell it.  Will try and pick it up somewhere else later on and have a look.

Just slowly flicking through it now. Nothing has jumped out at me, but I did have to take a second look at Hamman's predictions.

Arsenal 1st, United 2nd with Chelsea and City filling out the rest of the top 4? Too much currywurst this summer, Didi?!

I can't believe they give him a 2 page spread for his opinions which are close to worthless yet Pullien doesn't even get a full page to himself and is the only writer who shows a profit every year.  Very interesting how simple he kept his views on the EPL outrights.  'The top two in the betting are always over priced and 4/6 coupled Chelski and Man City is just too big'.  Can't say i disagree with him.  Arsenal look incredibly short now on the machine under 4/1 at 4.8.

15/8 chelski (coral) and 3/1 Man city (hills) at a shade bigger than 4/6 coupled looks a very attractive investment to me.

Real Madrid 6/4 to keep a clean sheet against spurs.

Vorm
Walker, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Rose
Alli, Dier; Dembele, Lamela, Eriksen
Kane

Looks like the back up striker on the bench is Chadli.

With Rafa playing an actual midfield these days, rather than just blokes slightly behind Benzema who will try to score, a 40% chance of keeping spurs at bay seems conservative.

£30 for £45 with Mr Mountain, if possible, please.

Does fred have a joe jennings account?  They are offering 2/1 Chelski for up to £250 to all new accounts per their advert in the racing post pullout.
