I do watch the champo highlights Tighty but in a sort of glazed over way as Palace aren't involved, so needed help with exactly what he contributes. Knew he scored plenty which is good but confused as to where he would fit in.

I'm perplexed by Palace atm. No ante post stuff from me because I haven't a clue how we will set up and if it will be effective. Also all the stuff is nowhere near as much value as last year.

One point I will make is we have been without Bolasie and Zaha for most of pre season and when we don't have width/attacking flair we look all at sea. We have no real like for like cover and that is a worry especially with murmourings that Bolasie may be Tottenham bound or in the very least unsettled somewhat at Palace.

Spurs were told they could have Bolasie...for £40m.

Two seasons too late, Pardiola.

I would say it's more like 25m and its not out of the question imo.

Report to the Liverpool thread immediately with prices like that. Has he even been in an England squad? 5m plus Lennon.

Anyone explain this race to me.

Obviously hoping to hold at 8 and not go to 7.

Ive had a nudge on Still On Top, Ladbrooks go 7/4 and betfair 16/1. Anybody any thoughts or help as to why

Nice nudge! Missed it personally but well done.

think Villa at home is a perfect start for Bournemouth. Really think Bournemouth could go well early doors.

was surprised to see Palace at 2/1 at Norwich.

Think Palace are to short?

If we think Palace are to big at two spades that to my workings out makes Palace the equivalent of a top six/eight side this season.

Be very surprised if that is the case

Did we get the rest of the £££ on the Bury match bet?

Levy starts with a 9 million bid

Ends up paying 18.5  and a player imo

Falcao starting in chelseas friendly tonight and costa looking unlikely for the opening league game.
9/2 lasts in one place for falcao first goalscorer, each way with 365, any good?

Arb

C Bayern Munich - Borussia Dortmund (Head-to-Head)
Who will finish higher in the league?
Pick: FC Bayern Munich  1.03
This pick cannot be combined with:
Who will finish higher in the league?
Pick: FC Bayern Munich
FC Bayern Munich - VfL Wolfsburg (Head-to-Head)
Who will finish higher in the league?
Pick: FC Bayern Munich  1.05

bwin pointless for ultra shorties.  Their stake is the same whether price is 1/100 or 100/1.  ty for the heads up though.  They are way too big loads of season match bets at short prices across several leagues.

How would you price up Birmingham City v Aston Villa in who finishes higher in their respective leagues?

Villa 4/6 Bham 11/10 - Obviously 4 more teams in the championship.  Assume you mean if Villa finish 20/20 and bham finish 21/24 then villa win the match bet?

Thank you.

Yes. Two chaps in the local, debating a straight evens the pair bet on this and I had villa at about 4/6. This is usually the point in the season where I try to take advantage of local team support. Best one was someone who wanted Villa v Spurs in a pickem match bet two seasons ago. Not for arbboy money, mind Wink

I get to pretend I know what I'm on about once a year. Cheesy
