Carlisle must be Fred readers and listened to me taking advantage of the Virgin trains first class hospitality as the travel didn't seem to bother them tonight! Grin

No question about the story of the day, as Pawel Fajdek celebrated winning the gold medal in the hammer with a beverage or two...

Returning to the athletes' village, a little worse for wear, he paid for his taxi and headed to bed. When he woke, he realised he'd paid for his taxi...using his gold medal!

Miraculously, he was able to call the taxi company and retrieve his medal. You wouldn't get a Nokia 3310 back from a taxi in Birmingham.

We were sitting in the boozer saying 'imagine if manure drew the arabs' or everton drew lolapool?  Who would be on the two sky games given the first two were 1.01 sky games?  Shame it didn't happen.  The draw could have been really sick after the first few games were drawn.

Pretty tough to not make Man City favs for the FA cup given they are odds on for the EPL.  Think £50 at 7/1 is required.

Leics are tempting at 66/1 imo given their early season form at the prices.  I wouldn't fancy laying Bournemouth at 100/1 either.

My ante posts were Man C, Leicester, Newcastle.  Think Newcastle will take the cups seriously this season so 40/1 looks okay to me.

Agree that Bournemouth at 100/1 looks a spot of value.

The 12-5 Gillingham @ Posh this weekend has gone, but there's one bit of 23-10 left with Hillies. Crazy pricing.
